Have you tried running portals early on for leveling? The floors that have the blue packs gives crazy xp. RNG is a big factor since legendaries can drop there and chance of multiplier and gobies. I usually have really good luck at the start especially on Necro getting early Shadowhook or Funery pick.

It's a shame they did never make the skeleton actual do damage. Diablo 3 necromancer is the worst they have made. But it's good at season start at least.

Glad to see someone else doing DH practice runs. I've been doing the same, but with WD start instead of Necro, since it's free. Yes, I still haven't gotten the Necro pack...1) because i don't like its playstyle, and 2) because it's p2w. "Wait, you can't be serious." Dead serious. After 8 years, I still refuse to give Blizzard $15 because I don't like the idea of buying any amount of power, even if it's just a small edge for the A2 bounty run. WD is surprisingly not much worse. The downside is I have to snapshot ALL of the bounty areas, instead of just around the waypoint. Yes that means you basically walk around each bounty twice, BUT once you have Haunt at level 12 you literally don't have to stop running while killing things.

I also have never purchased the Necro pack for similar reasons (pay to win) and I have been playing longer than you. That's why I primarily play POE because they don't do that crap.

Hello If you do the season journey on a Necro and then open the bags from headrigs gift on a level 1 DH you can powerlevel yourself to 70 in 10 minutes. But in the initial leveling phase and the season journey you save more than an hour.

@@TheDethMatt Well, if you do it correctly, you'll same around an hour until 6p headrigs. And from this point on, you equip the 6p GoD on the DH on level 1 and powerlevel yourself in 10 Minutes. You should be at least 45m faster with the Necro (I've also tested it).

@@TheDethMatt Getting the quiver is more unlikely than a guaranteed multiplier on the necro. At the point where you gamble for the quiver, you have like 150 blood shards (3 completed bounty acts). And there's 7 quivers in the loot pool. Upgrading the 2h scyth to a legendary at around lvl 55 (after one vision you have enough mats for the sages set, and after the second or third you have enough dbs to upgrade the scyth). With the upgraded scyth you can cruise to level 70 on T3/4 and you have no problem with any T4 content.

@@stephenbelcher1935 ty man. Harrington procs on chests, which is the normal way to proc it, but also any clickable on the map. As in dead cows, loose tiles and such

ehm, what about doing season journey with a 1-70 necro until you get all 6 headrigs gifts but you open them on a lvl 1 DH and then you speedlvl your DH with GoD 6 piece Set Bonus? necro has a built-in multiplier with how corpse explosion works, its the most powerful class and should be able to do T4 stuff without legendaries no? necro should just be faster than DH and at the end youll have 2 characters at lvl 70

sorry for noob question but in the very beginning when you are locking in the level of the bounty areas did you run around because you have to engage an enemy for it to work? I just like understanding everything <3

It's just that it only covers a small area. By running until I find a monster I make sure that at least those guys will be snapshotted. You can just tp to the areas, but I think it's only 100 yards, or whatever they use to measure in d3

So the thing is... My first run (that 2+h run on the timer) was going lod nec til haedrig's gift and then use it on sader. It's just that it's so hard to get the sader going. I always have a hard time getting dark light, and don't even get me started on khasset. You definitely need at least 2 items, maybe 3 to be able to unlock primals on sader. And believe me, I really wanted to go sader as well. But if you get Cirri on DH, even a small bump like hexing pants is enough to get you to primals. for bolas, you need the bow, quiver, belt/pants to get it to work. Tldr, DH is sadly way faster than sader

Just for info, you get indeed a DB from the first bounty cache (your char lvl doesn't matter, but it needs to be at least a T1 cache). That DB is used to level up the Blacksmith. I for myself will go to 70 with Necro doing all bounty acts. I will stay on Necro until I get the second gift. Both gifts will be used on my DH, which I will level up fast on T6. Just tested, with Wraps of Clarity and 4 piece GOD you are unkillable on T4 so the GR20 won't be a prob, it will just take some time (around 10 min.) Have a great start into the season. Cheers.

so that 6:28h run was actually doing lod nec til 4p god dh, and I didn't like it at all. that's even why I switched to going full DH right after no lvl requirement. as much as I hate to say it, DH kinda good for levelling. And a good season start for you too, bro

A weirdo question: What if you have 2 accounts, and you get the Altar node that makes it so you can wear 70 items, then you get 1 of the accounts to the Challenger bag stuff and craft 70 gear for your "main". When I tested this on Non-Season I could drop my other char 70 gear. Or does this not work during the season itself?

Nice little tip on the forged in battle bounty is go to Waypoint on floor 2 and simply go back to the first floor. he is always at the exit. :)

@@fuku512 from what we're seeing on the switch, it's actually not (sadly). The sanctified power overwrites the vigilante belt. It might get the dmg bonus from vigilante, but that's it. Maybe it's gonna get "fixed", but if not, sader will actually be worse. But it's the DH season anyways. Impale for XP, and then UE for t16

How many augments for gr 150 with this build? I'm currently at gr 121 with rathma. All ancient equipment and 874 paragon but haven't augmented anything yet and it's a big struggle

@@bruhder5854 that depends on too many variables. If possible, always augment them. And early on, Tragoul is way better than the other sets. Specially rathma. But guardians set is a must until around 3k

@@AndersPedersen-e5d most likely guardians Tragoul/tal rasha. For that amount of playtime, even if wol is still the strongest build, guardians should carry harder.

Tal rasha maybe you don't need to save a pylon, but it's better to have. Tldr, Tragoul stronger during the rift, but shit boss. Tal rasha weaker during the rift, slightly better boss

i am confused as to how you are doing damage with only using the steed charge which is a tactical skill right? i build the baby pony and i am not doing any damage at all unless i use an ability like FoH would you mind explaining?

Can we say that demon hunter's impale build is the best build for solo xp? Will there be much difference between GoD and impale demon hunter? I hope impale is strong enough for clear 125s under 1.30 minutes with the best gear

@@atknqeewkke that will 100% happen. Rax was farming 117s on HC under 2k gons, and without the impale buff/altar back in the day. I'm just not sure if wol really got shafted so hard that impale will be better

And just because we get the strafe power, doesn't mean the god dh is useless. Imagine... We could've gotten Natalya for the haedrig's gift, and get the worst farming dh set

Hi bro, Last season(still current) was a blast with your inarius build, thank you! This season i wanna up a bit and play HC. What class you recommend?(no Wizz, i hate wizz and no DH couse i played almost exclusively for years on PC this class, now i play on Switch - inherited from my son couse he got a new one :)) ) After you suggest……maybe make a build vid too?:D (i know maxroll, raxx and gang, and i know they update them, but i want from you bro ;) ).

@@Vladyslav85 ayy thank you, man. The thing is, for hardcore, really one of (if not the best) build is Tragoul. Because it's tanky, and it's stronger than Inarius early on. I would say Bone Spear is kinda ranky as well, but you can get one shotted by spinners and stonesingers. So, sadly, Tragoul would be the best recommendation. Which I do have a guide on it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYrZhZR6ls-Mpdk But it's essentially the same play style as inarius. Other than that, even though you didn't want to play wiz, another good option for hardcore is the guardians tal rasha, but... Wizard. :P

@@Vladyslav85 monk has potential to be the strongest in the game with wol, but I don't think it will happen because the nerfs seem kinda hard. Can't say it's a tank either. I don't remember if this version also has problems with spinners and stonesingers, because the normal one does. Thorns sader is only good with soul shards/lots of paragon.

@@Mrfailstandstil probably not. Impale will still be more focused towards speed farming. Even though we got buffs and stuff, a no season theme impale can only do it at around 5k ish. I don't think the strafe power buffs it by that much, but maybe 3/4k, even though I find it hard to believe. But we never know. Too long since this season was a thing/last time I've played impale

@@TheDethMatt 😔, I did 142 last time with 2500 para, I just hoped with the shadow set buff + altar + 500 more para from my end I will be able to do it, I won't be able to farm more than 3k para cause I can play 1.5 - 2 hrs a day at most, but hey, it's still will be a lot of fun! this season theme was my favorite! Can't wait, I haven't played d3 since og altar theme

@@almagamingworld I mean, it was stupidly strong back in the day. And it does scale well with paragon, but idk. It will definitely clear 150, even with the nerf

watch out for Rainment monk this season, probably 20 tiers stronger than s27, because of reworked passive, set buff, guardian set and altar.

I don't have the link for it, because it is a really underpowered setup that only works with cube related seasons, but I do show gear at the end, and the skills are Simulacrum (blood and bone), devour (one that gives max life), leech (transmittable), grim scythe (cursed scythe), bone armor (dislocation), bone spear (blighted marrow)
