Great tips and information ! I’m still struggling with the pricing page for my website relaunch.. I know it’s what customers want to see, however for services for videography and events, the pricing can vary greatly.. am think of the quote, starting at $xxx It may scare off some without getting that initial contact, but it also would pre qualify the leads coming in..
@EndlessCustomers26 күн бұрын
That's a common struggle when it comes to pricing pages! When things can vary greatly, you can always give a range, or at least provide valuable information about what would make prices go up or down. In your case, an example might be talking about how adding each camera and camera operator would increase the price by "XYZ" (or even have a range for that). And yes, while having pricing on your site may scare some prospects off, they most likely didn't have the budget for your services anyway. You just saved yourself time and energy! Here's an episode where we go deeper into having pricing on your website: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHSteqGXgMyti8U Thanks for watching!

Its cute you think that people dont conceive of work tools as work tools. Its still an expense -- if its not something i can resell down the road - like a stock, bond, real estate, gold, vintage wine, whatever - then its still not an investment, even if its a good tool.

We see your angle there! We just mean it's a work tool that you're putting money into, and if it's used correctly, you're going to get money coming back your way that you wouldn't have otherwise.

No you are wrong, the problem is there are soooo many scams out here that we don't know who to trust. So people want to do business with someone that has a brick and mortar office. Someone that has been in business for a long time, that's what's going on. We have learned that we can trust NO ONE

That logic sounds a bit faulty. I mean, I'm usually all but sold on something in the first page. I read the other pages to assure myself that the product is as good as I think it is. And I'm looking for hard solid data and stuff like that. If you dress up the pages though just to make them look interesting... aka, an extension of the first page where you are trying to hook people... then you probably will lose my business since I'm having to dig for those important details/specs/etc. You lose my business not because I can't eventually find them further down but because you are making me wonder why I'm having to dig so hard to find it... to question my initial impression. That's me though. I'm sure he knows whether this actually worked for his product or not.
@EndlessCustomers7 ай бұрын
We're actually on the same page here! We believe that all content shared needs to be transparent and openly answer the tough questions that buyers have. Then you send that content that they can look at so they don't have to dig for the important details (before a sales meeting) so you can go even deeper! Check out the full episode for a more thorough description of Assignment Selling. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@101perspective7 ай бұрын
@@EndlessCustomers I think my point is mainly that just because people look at more pages of your content doesn't necessarily mean that it was looking at more pages that sold them. That enticing people to read more pages doesn't necessarily equate to more sales. That the original findings could just be people who already decided they wanted the product and simply wanted to find the specs. In which case you would probably sale more by getting them everything they care to see in FEWER pages. I know I've passed on products many times when I searched through tons of pages and had trouble finding basic information. Made me question how customer friendly they are and how good the product actually is if they think they need me to look at all this misc hype first. Again, though, you are the expert not I. I might just be more skeptical than other buyers.

Super valuable conversation and info on pricing! As a fine artist, selling work for multiple thousands, I oscillate between sharing my pricing and hiding my pricing. I’m willing to negotiate and be flexible for the right customer but the tradeoff is I deal with a ton of unqualified buyers which is why I offer prints :)
@EndlessCustomers8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! Yes, the tradeoff you mentioned usually amounts to a pretty large amount of time wasted! You can still always negotiate and be flexible even if you list your prices. Great idea offering prints to have affordability for others!
