Had my Motop 270 awning on one outing with a little wind and it fell apart. Guy ropes, sand pegs and all support legs set up. The actual hinge and aluminium are so thin there’s no was it could handle its 35kmh rating. I was in 10-15kmh and it just literally fell apart. They won’t honour the warranty even though it was brand new. If you want an awning that will last avoid the sh*t out of this one. MW is just cheap import garbage unfortunately. At $900.00 you think you would get a bit of quality.

Nice vid mate 👍 interesting to see the motop version! Very similar to the drifta one size wise. I've just ordered a drifta 270 which I'm eagerly awaiting delivery on. I was a bit dubious about the quality of the drifta until I saw it in person. Good quality for the price - better than I expected! One thing I found really interesting when I saw it on display - they had the basic awning brackets securing it to the drifta RTT - not the reinforced ones and it sagged heaps! So the mounting needs to be very solid. I saw a vid on the right way mount it using 2 reinforced brackets and 2 standard ones, I'm particular having 2 brackets close together at the hinge end. I noticed yours flexing a bit so might be worth a look . . . kzbin.info/www/bejne/g53LooufnpilrNU Also a good tip for strapping the end back instead of that bungee cord is a $13 rope ratchet you can get from Bunnings www.bunnings.com.au/grunt-6mm-x-240cm-rope-ratchet-tie-down_p0013505

Hi there Cruisin time, Next time you do a valve adjust, adjust the cross head first as it is important to have it opening the valves at the same time. I put down ward pressure on the cross head and move adjuster instil it JUST moves off the valve then lock it up. Carry out the rocker adjust after that. Toyota complicate an easy process.
