Very useful demonstration! I'm about to receive 8 ex-hire Vari-lite VL3500Q luminaires. Their internal structure looks very similar so I guess the cleaning and maintenance principles are the same.

I'm just glad that I was still allowed to learn and work on these tables at the end of the 90s. Soundcraft Sc8000, crest V12 and Yamaha PM3000. And sometimes also XL4. That has taught me a lot of appreciation for sound, mixing ratios, dynamics, sound impact and listening. Everything that digitalos can no longer experience today, unfortunately. Pure sound power based on electrical currents, not calculated with zeros and ones. If the opportunity is there, I like to stand at analog mixing consoles. But otherwise at dLive. Not as happy as before, but digitally appeased.

KS28 used is around 5-6k net, I guess it's somewehere around 8-10k as you buy them originally. Then you still need some LA12X amps to fire them up, which are around 7-8k in used condition. So I think 8x KS28 and 3x LAX12 are somewhere around 100k (u still need a couple of top speakers as KARA, K2/3 oder A series of course).
