Finally, the version of the show that has “My Christmas Card to You” by Partridge Family and “A Place Called Home” by Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens as the openers!!! For a while all I could find was the one with We Need a Little Christmas!

Let's not forget about Scar from The Lion King. He was voiced by Jim Cummings in this Disney nighttime show as well.

you think they could edit out the Ladies & Gentlemen references from both without it affecting the rest of the soundtrack in either instance.?

Just watched this as evening entertainment with beers. Took me back to when I was there but enjoying it as an adult (like I’ve dreamed of for years (I went there the filming year and I was 11))

At the time, Horizons epitomized the purpose of EPCOT Center perfectly. Although admittedly it was becoming dated towards its end, it was my favorite attraction. The lack of an attraction like this (or at least in its spirit) is almost tragic.

Although I'm like most Disney park fans where I don't like this incarnation of the Tiki Room, I am always intrigued whenever videos are uploaded of UNM from the year it originally opened, mainly for comparing and contrasting how it was from when it first opened until it's abrupt closure a little more than a decade later. For example, the new animatronics here for Iago & Zazu are very fluid and impressive versus how they were by the end of the attraction's lifespan where so little care and upkeep was done beforehand that Iago looked as though he was wearing a hoodie (and he normally wouldn't recede back into the ceiling in time before the smoke effect went off) while Zazu develop a lazy eye! The audience's reaction to "Smokin'!" is also a pretty good example of how dated the attraction became as most of the earliest videos I've seen of this attraction has everyone laughing at the line, and dead silence in all the ones from it's final few years.

Eric von Riegers so was it the same performers for years? I’m not quite understanding. I wish this stuff was still around! Born in 1990 and I remember my parents’ friends all went to Pleasure Island but my parents weren’t huge bar-goers so they never did. I find it really intriguing :)
