Arguably one of the best Mal Waldron ensembles (THE best one for me, anyway). However, it seems the transfer wasn't so successful - the frame is cropped to a 1:1 screen ratio (letterboxed) - most likely the result of incorrect settings for the transferring software. I'd love to see this reposted in all its uncropped glory ;)

Been a devoted fan since the latter 70's. Saw his amazing band live in Dallas one year. Turned on many people to his music once they heard jlp. What an impact jlp had on me and to this day I love to hear his works...

Ein wunderschönes musikalisches Kaleidoskop jener Zeit. Danke dafür vielmals!!! Hast Du auch etwas von 'THE NICE' ?!!! {Hang on to a dream}

The Tangerine Dream track is actually "Ultima Thule part 2". Amazing that there aren't even any synths!

I'm sure i saw this on Portuguese TV Ch2, around late 1977 - local urban highschool kids, curiously enough, were into Krautrock and Can and Amon Düül II visited the country around that time. You could see 14 year olds with Klaus Schulze's records under their arms, which, taken into account the musical content, isn't quite the thing nowadays, right? Strange...

Omg this is priceless history. You did a wonderful fabulous job transferring from laserdisk. Did you do any upscaling? You say you have more is this on laserdisk. I hope you are going to put it all up. For the world to enjoy. You said you had the 1st king crimson in this I misunderstood is that with Greg Lake from Court of the Crimson King. In laserdisk performing live? Omg I have to see this. Do you have any of the Nice too.

Ha, Z... called out a young Rayford at the time of this concert. Hell all of them were young, maybe he should have said, a younger Rayford, but no matter. I think that Ray always brings down the house when he played w JLP, that's what Jean do, he Rock's the joint. Every concert that I've been to of JLP's was on & popin, even when he equipment failed the one concert, it was still a nice concert, that he made happen. He vibe is always mellow, that's what sets a nice concert, relax & gel too be in the moment. Not a lot of concerts are chilled like that 🖤 so I do appreciate the effort that JLP puts into the whole process 🖤...

Watch out, Randy's has cut loose. He's no Stanley Clark but he'll do. Now when it comes to Rayford, we are on a whole nother level. I think that (no) I know that he's up there w Cobham, no doubt. JLP only plays w the best of the best. I wonder if he's into physics as well as fusion, because he puts lots of energy into his music 🎶 🖤...
