I’ve got a 97 with auto trans, stalling in reverse. No grinding or metallic noise. RPMS drop and then stalls, fluid was low. Added fluid and still same symptoms. Runs fine in drive… help please!

When you do the dash, I would love to see it. Also, I'm curious can you swap the door panels with some customizing, or is that super difficult

How do u think this is the correct way?? If I was doing it .. I wud put the nut in the floor like factory...and stick the original bolt back into the hoke so exhaust fumes cud never seep into the cab.. They sell the tools... Plus a guy put seats in his truck, here on you tube showed how doing it properly... This is the right way to half ass it ..

On the passenger front. The black and blue stated is the same as a gray wire. Non key less entry is blk/blu ,W/key less is gray wire. Found this on AllData wiring diagram.

Would you happen to know the best place to find oem style style door panels for these trucks that aren't complete crap? Or would it be easier to swap over a newer style door panel to the older trucks?

Buckets worked great! Fairly easy install. On my ‘97 crew cab, when I drilled the two furthest back holes, they came out just under a factory mounting plate on the outboard side. Had to modify two washers (spacers) in a “half moon” shape to fit just under the bracket and allow the mounting bolt/nut to tighten without bending and breaking. I have a remote entry from Tony’s Car Care (OBS KEYLESS ENTRY). I wired both trigger wires into the dome light wire, behind passenger’s kick panel. Was able to avoid tearing into the truck and using the diodes. Both steps deploy when unlocking the keyless entry, but doesn’t bother me a bit. Steps retract when dome light goes out. Works the same for manually opening and closing the doors as well.

I think I'll roll the dice with three out of four. All the potential future damage to that cross member and undercarriage is worth the "risk". That hole is going to gobble up road debris and rust everything. Good idea though.

I found a set of AMP powersteps on FB marketplace for a 2019-2022 Chevy silverado. Do you think I could make them work on a 96 bronco? I'm sure I could fabricate the brackets but not sure about the wiring/electrical

The standard on those trucks was an eight foot. The short beds were called just that short. No such thing as a long bed just standard and short.
