I bought a drink carrier a while ago probably one of my favorite travel items it makes boarding so much easier not having to hold a drink too. I avoid traveling any time close to thanksgiving , Christmas or new year it always looks insane at the airport when they show it on the news. Happy new year 🎉

I live in California I want to become a flight attendant as a part time job maybe fly out once a month. 3-4 days is that possible? Also where can I attend school at?

Honestly assigned seating is better for the weight distribution and you will have less people fighting. I was on a bus and this one grandma was not happy that she couldn’t sit side by side with her grandchild. But she had 4 other options. She could sit across the aisle behind or in-front. Since this was a board crossing so everyone lost their seat. I gave mine up to an elder couple. My friend and I moved to our new seats. When this grandma first came on she moved my friends purse and I put my hand across the aisle to stop her from taking it. My friend was in the bathroom. How do you miss the other 4 options. I informed her there were other options and that we aren’t moving again. It’s not assigned seating and everyone had to move once cross the border

I only went in the gallery yesterday because the flight attendant told me to. Otherwise I only go there to ask for someone for something 1 out of 30 times a fly which is not a lot

Your airline needs to create a app on your tablet to take drink orders like most other larger airlines do like I’m FC on majors

And for new people they may need 40 to 45 to get everyone served! Especially when everyone in your section orders, plus want multiple drinks at a time. For example someone ask for a water and a ginger ale. Then next person ask for a wine and a water and so on. Those 12 people for one drink gets shortened to 8 or less depending on how many people that want two drinks. Needless to say service can be stressful! Fly safe coheart

I hate Daylight Savings as well it gets dark here in Ma at 4:15😞 glad you had a nice time in DCA been there many times when I worked for the airlines lots of fun I also liked working Thanksgiving cause the flights were usually empty and I had enough seniority that I would have the rest of the weekend off so what I would do after my shift is hop on a FLT to FLL Good Times! ✈️

I stayed home I have too many family dramas is the first year I’ve done that I volunteered to dog sit so that they could go out of town but I could’ve still went to family stuff but it was too much drama. I’m doing the same thing I’m staying home unless somebody wants me to dog sit for them and just chilling out I’m retired but I do Uber eats on the side and I’m the top person in my area so it’s hard for me to turn down stuff but I promised my boyfriend I won’t work on holidays

Yes! Daylight Savings this year has kicked my butt as well!

Schools definitely could have been open the snow was minimal however we’ve had those storms that weren’t supposed to be much and we’ve got hit with tons of snow and the schools stayed open not anticipating it. Have you ever had a flight cancelled due to the amount of snow? I’ve heard wind is worse for planes canceling or being delayed. We have an upcoming trip on Southwest next month maybe we’ll run into you at DIA aka DEN it’s a Colorado thing 😂

I want to be a Flight Attendant when I grow up😆--in a couple of years when I retire from being a 911 Dispatcher. 28yrs of 24/7/365 has taught me holidays/birthdays/anniversaries are about spending time with those you love and not a date & time on a calendar. Little kids can't tell you the date, teenagers sleep in, grown kids have be at the inlaws then come to you later or before. It works out in the end.

4:13 - speaking of buses, DEN getting some brand new shuttle buses. They are not electric but rather Natural Gas. I got lucky and currently bringing one in a few days. Ive been to Portland Maine a few times. Love that city .
