Big fan of your long-form videos! I used to solo travel for work quite a bit but never really enjoyed it. Even when I had a chance to do touristy things, I always felt quite lonely and would just think how I wished a friend could be with me. I found that taking lots of pictures and narrating videos to share with people back home was a kind of substitution for that social aspect I was missing. Do you get that sense when you make your videos? It's like I was not truly alone because the "viewer" was always with me.

Thank you so much!! 🙏 And sorry to hear that the solo adventures were rough (I also very much like traveling with others 🙂). What you say about the loneliness aspect really speaks to me. I'm fine on my own but loneliness always hits hard after a day or two. Then, I seek out people and have even made a few travel friends along the way ☺️ And - yes, 100%! I can definitely relate to the documentation aspect. Taking pictures and narrating videos to share gives me so much purpose - it's low-key delusional how "a part of something" I feel even when it's just me and camera on the other side of the world.
