This is not a fun concept for me!...Over the last 8 years (78yo right now), I have had radiation treatment for Prostate cancer-twice!...And now, a recent spike in PSA has me scheduled for more radiation....it seems in my case, I will be battling cancer every so often, despite the oncologists telling me that I am a successful cancer survivor! Life is ironic, right?

So instead of trying to kill the cancer cells, why not try to figure out how to live with the cancer and adapt our cells to it?

In January of 2O24 at the age of 68 I received a diagnosis of Esophageal Cancer which has a low survival rate unlike Prostate Cancer or Breast Cancer. In the early Spring I did 6 weeks of Chemo and Radiation Treatment. Which I expected to be devastating and which absolutely was not. But they wanted to remove my Esophagus and 5O% of my Stomach to use as a new Esophagus. Like a constantly increasing number of patients I refused consent for this extreme surgery. When the Chemo and Radiation succeeded in reducing the tumor so that I could once again swallow food rather than only liquids. I then began a Cancer antagonist food and supplement diet. Which I learned about primarily through KZbin videos. By often younger M.D.'s and Oncologists who are occasionally Cancer survivors themselves. As it seems that absolutely everyone is being diagnosed? Probably due to what we put into our bodies? I recently received a clean Pet Scan. Which is the third since my Chemo and Radiation Treatment ended in the Spring of 2O24. Although there was some continuing uptake in my Prostate which they still do not think is Cancer but rather Inflammation. And there was new Lymphatic uptake in October which they also think is Inflammation rather than Cancer. Which has now almost disappeared in the recent January Pet Scan. Both will have to be watched. And I will now focus on data-driven PSA reduction methods and well as Prostate reduction recommendations. But my current remission status continues to place me in the minority population in the datum. And I am concerned that curing Cancer is simply nowhere near as profitable as treating or observing Cancer. Curing Cancer ends all billing whereas just observing Cancer allows the billing go on indefinitely. I like most at my stage of treatment am having Pet Scans every 3 month. I have had 3 and if I have 1 more clean Pet Scan in early April I will then only have them every 6 months. But at this point the tumor is still gone with no spread. None of my Cancer M.D.'s will talk about Anti-Cancer foods or supplements. When I try, they patronize and smile at me like I am stupid and say things like... "Well, a healthy diet can't hurt now can it?” And they insist that there is absolutely no evidence to support the idea that Cancer antagonistic foods even exist.. Even thought my CEA numbers have been decreasing consistently since a height in February of 2O24. This can be frustrating due to the focus and emphasis by apparently equally trained and educated M.D.'s who happen to be using the media option of KZbin. Which should not be medically disqualifying. Especially in light of what Helen Keller use to say... "The heresy of yesterday becomes the orthodoxy of today." If we can actually treat ourselves with what we consume then won't the billing for the cutting and burning and poisoning go down? They argue that there isn't any data to support effectiveness. A minority of M.D.'s and Oncologist's disagree. So it's frustrating given the seriousness of the medical issue. Especially in light of what I experienced subjectively due to the medical community by being born LGBT in 1955. It all can feel a lot like the pseudo-science of Homosexuality. Which is why I have no problem understanding why Iatrogenic Illness is the 3rd leading cause of death in America. So I will continue to spend a little more on my Cancer antagonistic food and supplement diet until there is evidence that they just aren't working. And that I am just wasting my time and money. I also set up a small shrine to Lord Ganesha. The ancient Hindu Elephant parental deity. Whose forte is removing obstacles from one's pathway. I am spending a bit extra now for the small votive candles and the incense. I speak with him daily which feels very reassuring in a parental sort of way. I would have turned perhaps to one of the Abrahamic religions. Like the Lutheran Church which I was raised in. For this spiritual component of my treatment response to my crisis and diagnosis. But unfortunately they are all so hateful towards LGBT people. So such would obviously never work. Therefore I thought that old Lord Ganesha would be perfect. And perhaps it was actually an effective choice? At least for my Subconscious. I just wish that a dietary response to Cancer was not so controversial. It can be frustrating trying to figure out who to believe and how to find your way. Recently I received my third Post-Treatment Pet Scan results which were all clean. Should the Cancer return? I did have cancer in my blood vessels and my pathology report said, "Highly suspicious for vascular invasion." back in August 2024, 5 months before surgery, I went through Hell at a church.
