Great video! I stumbled upon this when I wanted to see what people were doing camping wise for Halloween. This was the first time I had come across an entire campground that put together a Halloween event. I would say my favorite part was how people decorated their campsites That is pretty awesome! Also it seems like the perfect place for families with small children. I did read your description and I will say that it is a mixed bag when it comes to prices for the activities. The tye dye shirts seemed to be priced OK, the ceramics were priced really good, but the gemstone activity was way over priced. That really should have been $5 for the large bag and $1 for the small. What did shock me was the cost of the cabins. $700 for a weekend is highway robbery at best. Really, it should have been half that at the most. $400 for a special weekend such as this, but that is still pushing it. However, the dirty bathrooms, the poor condition of the beds, the cutting of activities they had in the past, such as the DJ, Bonfire, and the Chili contest, and then raising the cabin prices astronomically are red flags and sadly, it could mean that the park is in trouble financially. The place didn't look very full for a big event like this, which is another red flag. If it is a place you love, visit it often because it may not be around for much longer.

It’s hard because I feel like costs are going up everywhere, and there are situations where I don’t mind paying but the condition of the cabin for 700 dollars was really deplorable. I think it wasn’t busy because it was still early. I am sure it was more busy later in the Halloween season I really love jellystone Williamsport, I am hopeful that they are just working out the kinks because the grounds are beautiful and the pool area in particular is so much fun! @@b-more_adventurous From looking at the video and your description, I just wasn't getting a good vibe when you said that they cut out so many activities they had in the past and it didn't look like a lot of people were there. For me, looking from the outside in, it is kind of a warning sign that a company is in trouble. They charge the astronomical prices on the lodging to, hopefully, make ends meet. But, as you see, the quality isn't going up with the cost. However, I do like the premise of allowing campers to decorate their sites. I wonder if other camp grounds do something like this.

That was a great video. I loved watching you all have a blast together and your wee ones getting to experience the beauty of being in the great outdoors and them seeing life is so much more fulfilling and precious when electronics are not involved. Family time is so important I’m checking in to checking out Merry Meadows as I type this. Im looking to buy and stay in my purchase for a the next many months. Are there any tips or tricks you can think of or suggest that might be of great value to me as I will have my two wee ones (for a few days every week) my girlfriend and four pups there with me. Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated. Again that was a great video you made and thank you for sharing this awesome family trip with all that clicked on and have watched it. Camp on!! ✌🏼😎

@@IrishRooster86 did you purchase your camper already? Some places will provide you a free year subscription to thousand trails if you are looking to stay in the camper for a while this would save a ton of money. We asked for a deal and that’s all they gave us. Some campgrounds do offer long term sites as well. Ramblin pines is another one that I can think of off the top of my head. We really enjoy merry meadows, I hope you enjoy it too!!

@@b-more_adventurous no I have not purchased anything yet. Just checkin in to things and what’s all involved in owning and enjoying camper life the most inexpensive and efficient way possible. However I just took a tour of Merry Meadows and that is a very beautiful place. I believe I talked to Mr. Harry and the sweet lass at the front desk, I didn’t catch her name. Both had a very welcoming demeanor to them and showed me a few potential sites that the camper Im checking in to would fit perfectly and told me if I were going to stay for an “extended period of time” it would make so much more sense for me to take the 50 amp site because of running two AC’s in the summer or heaters in the winter (as my son can’t regulate his body temperature when I have him and my daughter) as opposed to the 30 amp. If all falls in to place for me as I hope I will definitely check in to that money saving idea, every penny saved, counts. I am very appreciative of every person I meet everyday and those willing to lend a hand or give advice. Thank you ever so kindly and you’re more than welcome. Please keep on with great content.

Hello loved❤the Port Discovery information I do like the zoo however I do not care much for the Baltimore zoo had a very bad experience there . I prefer DC zoo over the Baltimore zoo and the membership at the Baltimore zoo I think it’s outrageous. But nevertheless, I wanted to leave a comment because if you decide to go to Port discovery again the subway, may work out bettering your favor.

I am so close to the Baltimore zoo and I like to go there just to walk around for exercise, we probably go atleast 10 times through the year so it was worth it for us. Mine just expired though and now that I don’t have any tots at home I’m debating it this time… thanks for your suggestion, I will need to look into the subway.

My family and I have been to this campground. It’s super fun especially at Halloween time. Everybody decorates their sites and they also have a haunted trail which is fun. Do the ceramics if you can that’s also a fun time

I love the movie encanto but that just looked awful. I would rather watch the actual movie than do that experience. It doesn’t look worth $45 per person and personally I think you would’ve been better off using that money to do something else that is worth that amount.

Honestly I never found it to be noisy, like I have experienced at other “lively” campgrounds - but I imagine maybe it depends on your neighbors ofcourse. Have never had an issue here though yet for me!! it is a pretty big campground depending on where your spot is a golf cart does help, we usually get one 1/4 weekends. Thanks for commenting!

Great Video! :) We also go every year...and LOVE it! I recommend checking out homeowners at ocean lakes ...houses for rent by owners...& some of those come with golf carts, which is very helpful in the summer..they go quickly & there's no "reserving". Also Halloweekends are very cool...Halloween decorations & trick or treating...:) ...Love from VA
