I just bought one based on this video…it doesn’t fit as well. And it’s clunky as hell.

Good ol' days brother. Beautiful Mk6, darn, that bottom side of the car is clean. It's funny, with almost all generations, the GTI seems to get more beautiful when ageing. Have a great Sunday bro.

This makes me miss my manual, 2-door MK6. Have a MK8 DSG now. It's a nice ride, and certainly a better car, but there's some obvious post-COVID cost cutting.

I had a 2013 GTI. I loved it until about 120K miles started have problems. Now I have a 2024 GOLF R. I have 034 Motorsports Stage 1 low torque 93 octane. I think I'll wait a year or two before going to stage 2.

Dude I have a great idea for the muffler. You could make a table out of it with epoxy. Just make the table and put that on top and epoxy it so you have it encapsulated in epoxy. Lots of work but I’m sure it would look awesome.
@LastHumansGarage6 күн бұрын
wouldnt the muffler take up most of the table? or you mean more of a han solo effect.

There is a cleaner called Awesome at Dollar (twenty-five) Tree, which is perfect for the outside mildew. I did have a super long $250 ladder and telescopic brush poles to help reach the top. It is really not that difficult, just have to have someone hold the ladder JIC. You say you don't pay, is better than paying a ER visit or worst. Should not be more than $150 to have it done.

For your house siding, i use an outdoor cleaner either from Lowes or Home Depot called '30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner.' it removes algae, mold, mildew, dirt & grime.

Just did this for a 2014 passat and got stuck for 2 hours trying to get the piece back in lubed and everything. Key for me was the window needed to be slightly raised to be used as a guide to get it back in. Also the clips can be pushed out easily with a flat head screw driver, then pressed back in with your finger. Thanks for the great video, really helped!

I think you can use the OBDEleven (if you have one) to reset/clear the "Inspection needed" message. Same with oil change maintenance intervals etc.

I really loved this video. Especially the rain at the end. What I like with your channel, is it felt like we really are with you working on the car and enjoying it. For your eyes, consider eating some lutein rich nutrients and blueberry. Diet (reducing sugar) and sleep are the most important things.
