Great explanation. Did this for my brother in law. I used a 6mm bolt, and installed it with the nut in the base. Used loctite on the nut hoping it won’t come loose. But if it does at least I can slot the end of the screw and retighten the nut. Appreciate the tips.

I think it was pretty straightforward, no extrem hassle. No special tools, just depends on your old lines' conditions. Definitely worth doing I would say, but don't take the brembo pads if not necessary, go for another brand

My first brake job was on my Alfa 156 SW - they told me then, not to do emergency braking for at least 500 Km - but to brake in the rotors and pads on a steep downhill road with multiple slow-downs. Rotors and pads were Ate, and they did do a good job after the "treatment"!

You cant open the clamp if you want to change the entire shaft, included the housing of the final bearing. Sometimes that "housing" is worn, you need to change it.

I just found oil on cylinder 1 and 2 (spark plugs sockets). Giulietta 1.4 tjet. Engine works fine, without missfires and faults. It just the question of seal/gasket under the valve cover?
