Wonderful, Im glad it was helpful. I love all pigments, and paints from Paul Rubens, I think they are a fantastic company and have been very good to me. Their quality and price point is great. Im so glad you are enjoying them too without breaking the bank and still able to have professional paint if you choose through Paul Rubens. (The MeiLiang is student grade die to their lightfastness but still fantastic to work with)

I am glad to hear that, I used WN for decades because way back in college that's what I was told you use, period. The last few years, I started experimenting more because not all "beginner's" want to spend the money on investing in professional supplies yet. I totally get it! It can get pricey. I LOVE the Paul Ruben's MeiLiang, and Artisto. When I paint commissions, I do use the higher end products for higher lightfastness etc. Paul Rubens has fabulous quality, and I would use the PR Professional brand for a commission~ Happy painting friend, im happy you enjoy my teaching style and resources :-)

Yes ist was quite interesting and shows, the pigments, colors can vary even though using the same name! Can be so confusing, as well, an 8 round is completely different from manufacturer to manufacturer. Years ago these little things were so confusing for me. Im glad I could clarify this. My gosh, Yes when you don't see the sun for a bit, that can be a little bit of a bummer., that's when I have to put on good music, turn on lights, and lots of painting ! That always keeps me happy. I Hoe you see the sun soon friend~ xo

Im happy this was fun and helpful. Our hills are covered with these in the Spring~ They are breathtaking. I have lots of tutorials on them, because they are so beautiful to paint. Sketching is a must for me and flower guidelines. Otherwise watch out I can really create some crazy flowers!

Glad it was helpful! I feel I cant go over this enough, this is typically the biggest challenge in watercolors. Once you get this, master it, and develop that muscle memory, all else falls into place! Have fun friend, happy practicing.
