Living next to the Canadian Rockies in bear country I’ve seen a bear. It didn’t attack me. I was also a few feet away from a mountain lion. Didn’t attack me either. I’ve been molested at four years of age, abused, violated, threatened and raped by men. Clearly not all men are like this however statistically, there are less bear attacks than there are attacks from men. That’s the point. I in five girls have been sexually violated by the time they reach eighteen. That’s a statistic I would love to see go down.
