Are the loops on the back elasticated to allow for pole storage there instead of just the sides of the pack?

I love this vest! It runs very small. I’m 5’11 and got the XL and it still was a big snug. Definitely order a size or two up!

I will have to order from the US so it will not be worthwhile to return the product (I live in Canada). I measure 80cm under the ribs. The small/medium and medium/large sizes overlap. Is there anything I should consider when trying to pick a size? Thank you.
