The only value projects have to me is their justification for buying more tools! Rivet nut tools range from USD20 manual version to a top of the line (eliminates crooked) cordless drill rivet nut tool at USD75.00.

With method #3, why is the nut needed verses only the washer? I understand that the threads of the bolt and riv-nut are being severely rubbed.
@DIYwithDeon6 күн бұрын
The nut is there to make space for the wrench to press the washer against the rivnut to help prevent it from spinning in the hole. I hope this made sense? 👌🏻

You can still use the same method to contact Google/KZbin, it just goes quicker when you have more information. You can still provide them with all your original contact info and passwords. Like I mentioned in the video, you will have to create a new Google account for the time being in order for Google to contact you. You will also have to change the passwords on all your other accounts linked to your hacked Google account. I is indeed a very sad and unfortunate thing to happen, but there is hope and a chance to recover it all. When you eventually get through to someone at Google to assist you with your account recovery, you can request KZbin to recover your account as well if your content was deleted or blocked. Unfortunately the recovery process takes longer when the damage caused is bigger. So try to get in contact asap and do not stop following up constantly.

I got two different "cheap" tools to insert rivnuts. I would never get a cheap tool again. You take the risk of damaging your threads and the rivnut will not be straight in a-lot of cases. Spend $20 at Harbor Freight and buy a Doyle Rivnut Gun. After I got the rivnut gun, every rivnut went in without problems at all! If you can afford a bit more, buy the good gun, you'll get much better results.

Very good video, My r1150 gs, was yelling (Scrape sound) when starting, disapper right after start up.. Had been standing still for 3 monts. It was start up after replaising the pushrods between the camshaft and rocker arms, so I was really scared first , if I had left some bits inside the top cover , But after checking I found all the bits I had used on the outside of the engine. So perhaps it was the starter motor makiing sound ?
@DIYwithDeon18 күн бұрын
It is very possible that the starter is dirty from all the dust from the clutch. A good clean and lubrication of the solenoid shaft could fix a lot of problems. 👌

I'd remove the top hole, because that is not enough overlap especially if the square tubes fit as sloppy together as a hotdog in a hallway. If you need the height just make the thing longer. Also make the U channels at the top and bottom the entire width of the jack, not just that tiny part so it doesn't slip out

Hopefully this video reaches many people who will be able to use the information. It is amazing how many people do not realize the batteries manufactured in the last few years are not anywhere near as well made as the ones made as late the mid 90's. The plates are thinner. The solution is weaker, which is causing the specific gravity to be lower. These things are especially the reason your video will help those who do not understand why their battery is needing to be replaced before they use to need to. One example is by looking at the battery return policies. Very unlikely you can find five years replacement/return policies now. I believe three years is the average now. Why? The amount of acid used, along with the minimal amount of lead used in the battery cases. I know as I have aged, it is easier to pick up car batteries. And i am NOT getting stronger. You can see this in the CCA on batteries also. Or just look it up for yourselves. Anyhow, very good video. My compliments to you for taking time to help others

Hello! I have a brand new 6 months old Toyota Innova Kijang/Crysta 2400cc diesel manual, which has done only 4000 kms. It developed reduced engine power and performance,sluggish and choked feeling at 700 kms. Since then the dealership has not been able to solve the problem. They have manually conducted manual/forced dpf regeneration multiple times but the malfunctions have not been rectified. Once after forced dpf regeneration the car improved a little but worsened again. My questions are:- 1) Is it possible for the DPF to get clogged at just 700 kms? 2) Is it possible to get the DPF removed and get my car remapped without any side effects? I am from India.
@DIYwithDeonАй бұрын
Hi, yes it possible for the DPF to get clogged quickly, but there would be a reason for it. I would suggest checking that that your MAP sensor is nor faulty and that the filter before the MAP sensor is not clogged or leaking. Also check the airflow sensor. Another thing to check is if the actuator on the turbo is moving and not stuck. Before remapping the car, unbolt the DPF part from the exhaust system and take it for a short drive to see if it improves. Removing the DPF and remapping will probably void any warranty you have on the vehicle. I hope some of this helps, good luck! 👌

@@DIYwithDeon If the MAP or Air flow sensor were faulty wouldnt then it be showing fault codes on the scanner. When the dealership mechanic scans the vehicle ,no fault codes show up. Or is it that it is NOT necessary that fault codes show up when these sensors are faulty. Also sir would it be possible to get your phone number talk to you over phone or a whatsapp call? Me and my family are literally frustrated and depressed that we are not able to use or drive our brand new car. All i am doing is paying loan installments and pleading to the car dealership to rectify the malfunctions for 6 months now. They are just indifferent and evasive. Thank you again.
