This was very helpful. I've never thought of using Keeper these ways - like tracking leads using a "Prospect Pipeline" unconnected client! Thanks!

How can I set my days-of-the-week filter to display in the correct order (Sunday, Monday, etc.) instead of sorting alphabetically?

Are there automations within Keeper or is this why we have to use saved views? I’m thinking along the lines of if one task/team member is complete the next task/team member will be ready to complete “their work.”

@CrystalGallardo-d5l Really great question & love your thinking here. There's a couple parts to this answer... There are auto-notifications where Keeper can send an update when a close status has changed (think 'update the account manager when the client's status is marked Ready To Review'), but that won't update any due dates or anything with the tasks themselves. And we don't have the same automations with task statuses, so it's pretty limited. With that context, saved views are a way to work around that lack of automation - but more than anything, they're a way to remove info you don't need to see because the default client list (or task list) can be massively overwhelming. They allow you to choose what YOU want to see & focus on: - just your payroll clients & show just the payroll task section (because we don't need all the closing sections if we're checking on payroll clients) - all with the 'ready for review' or 'stuck' status so managers can come in and address those so other teammates can continue their work - any clients who are 'onboarding' & any tasks that need to be done so you can have a VA come in to help keep those on track - show just tasks due today in my task list so I can prioritize those without getting distracted by other things coming up later in the week or month To recap, saved views allow you to decide what information you want to see on the client/task list & save that view so you don't have to click around each time you need to review that set of info. Feel free to reply back if any of that got confusing or didn't quite land, always happy to clarify or answer additional questions that come up!

This was such a fantastic session! I want to briefly explain the date range filters. Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently change the default date ranges in the transaction review reports. However, there is a feature request for this functionality. Some reports have a default range (e.g., 12 months for the transaction without payees, past month for the expense inconsistency, and all dates for the uncategorized). We encourage you to vote for this feature in Canny.

Thank you so much for this very informative video; I've done some work in Keeper, but this filled in a lot of gaps for me. With regard to your templates, do you share/sell them anywhere?

So glad to hear it was helpful! We do sell templates or can help create custom templates if it's a process that's unique to your niche or services. Feel free to shoot us a message at [email protected] or fill out the contact form on our website hughesandstrong.com/contact if you'd like to explore these to see if they're a good fit.

6:12 When adding recurring non-closing tasks in templates, do you add the due dates at the client level or template level?
@hughesandstrong
@hughesandstrong Жыл бұрын
Great question! If it's going to be consistent across all clients, then feel free to set it at the template-level to save yourself the admin work, but if it's going to be different client-to-client then we'd recommend leaving it blank and filling it in at the client-level. That's a more 'theorhetical' answer, but feel free to reply back with an example if you want to work through it on a more 'practical' level!
