Great trick. I will try this tomorrow! The problem is I already got mould into the car (on the floor) and now I have a warning that says: injection fault :/ Will the water from the floor also disappear (I mean underneath the carpet) when letting the water go with the tubes?

Is this a similar set up for the clio mk3? Our wipers have packed up again and it seems to be flooded again in the scuttle.

Thank you very much! This is an "over-engineered" solution as we can see. Fortunately these holes are reachable from the tyres.

Thank you, a simple solution! The rubber 'valve' on the bottom of the drain pipe seems a bit stupid, a perfect gunk trap.

Thanks for a clear description of where the drains are: nowhere else, even on Renault forums, does it show this, all seem to imply that you need to poke them clear from the scuttle. I was having the same problem and putting the hose onto the screen produced a stream of from under the dash which exited somewhere half way along the floor. Cleared about 1/2 pint of water,loads of slurry and bizarrely a pound coin from the passenger side, less impressive from the drivers side. Doesn't seem to be coming inside now so fingers crossed, I was reaching the point of selling the car with frustration at not being able to find the source of the water.

Thanks for this video, after watching it I cleared out the drain on my scenic. I hope it fixes my prob. I have water that somehow managed to get into the heater, which is no longer working. Are there drains under both front wheel arches or just the passenger side?

Did your heaters work after drying out or did it need a trip to the garage?
@MunDad
@MunDad 8 жыл бұрын
Yes it works ok now. So no costly trip to the garage thankfully. My scuttles were completely blocked so I regularly clean them now and the problem has not returned. Hope your heater once dry works.

Muchas gracias Use Translator
