Sometimes in life there are things that aren't for everyone, and sometimes how hard something is to get into may largely contribute to how it appeals to some people. KOF is a great example of this, with its appeal, especially for older titles, coming directly from how deep and fast paced it is. A lot of products are there for who wants an easier access, but personally most of them don't satisfy me as much as kof. Moreover, there's something to be appreciated in authenticity. A series that doesn't change itself to appeal to people that aren't THAT interested in the first place and keeps its design true to its philosophy is always something I will appreciate.

I want also to add, I am detailing another story of great commitment to a game (or series in this case) and how sometimes it can lead to success against all odds. I think it's a good chronicle of how really wanting something, can often reward you against all odds.

you're still +12 on a trade with luke, hence you can combo into slide. Not every character will have a full super trade, but play around and see what you get vs each character. That is what lateral thinking is and why you need that skill in FGs.

@@derelbenkoenig Yes, I have changed the way I explain it since then. It's 3 + 8 + startup of the move. Since you want the fastest move for the minimal cancel timing, overall you'd get 11 without the move (3+8) and 15 with the move (3+8+ 4)

It really isn't. If you don't go for the meaty and they don't reversal, they could press a button, DRC it and force a mixup on you via true blockstring into frame advantage.

Go in training mode, do meaty crlp into stlp as a chain. Once you got that timing down, if you do meaty crlp into standing throw, you'll get the stlp, so your Option Select will be there and it should grab the OD snake step if the time you are meatying with crlp is right. I play online and there aren't that many people, but you can regularly find a match(steam, PC) . Problem is most online are already very good, so if you're a rookie you'll lose a lot before you can even get to hold your own lol.

there are overall only 5 okis if you don't count the safejumps, which are limited in frame advantage anyway. DR crmk (your main tool until you "unlock" DR sthk frame advantage wise), DR STHK, DR Overhead (from 31+ onwards), DR throw and DR crhp into cancels. On top of that you have the safejumps and the cans. In regards to planning I'd say, you're forced to use DR crmk until you have enough frame advantage for DR sthk, from then it's about forcing the opponent to either take more frame advantage with sthk (and hence being able to play with different delay strike / delay throw / shimmy triangle) or trying to make them guess between DR crmk and DR throw. When you "unlock" DR overhead you want to test their high / low advanced defence with parry and animation reaction and once you can use DR crhp you want to test their mashing and delayed mashing with meaty DR crhp into torso cleaver, meaty DR CRHP into run stop (+2) or meaty DR CRHP into ex run stop (+5). I'm hitting top mentor on metafy in July, which means August may lead to more work, I'll try to work on YT content as much as I can, but editing takes a lot of time, as well as researching this stuff and putting it into a video.

actually now that I remember, that is a perk only my students will be getting, as it is promised with booking coaching, so I'll focus on other resources.
