@JazminsMexicanKitchen19 күн бұрын

Can I use a tortilla press for flour tortillas? Or just corn?
@JazminsMexicanKitchenАй бұрын
I think there's a flour tortilla press , I already tried using mine and the dough shrunk 😂 .
@thisguy2973Ай бұрын
Mixing in a little AP flour is a neat trick to add strength and softness. I started bread baking last year, and recently started getting into corn tortilla making because it’s a LOT easier than working with pure flour tortillas, but I may have to try this.

@JazminsMexicanKitchen2 ай бұрын

How come there is no fat in corn tortillas? Or is that optional?
@JazminsMexicanKitchen3 ай бұрын
On corn tortillas it's optional ,if you want to add some it will be fine, sometimes I do add some Manteca de cerdo and they are very tasty 😊. The reason I didn't add on my recipe is because it is probably harder for others to find that kind of fat and vegetal shortening it's not the same.
