This song haunts me. Years ago, my wife left me for another man. I was devastated, heartbroken, crushed. Six months later she kept reaching out to me through friends, saying she was so sorry and she wanted us to be together again. A part of me wanted to, but I just couldn't go back and be with someone who I could never trust again. Never spoke to her again.

I started listening to him about 2002 with his old band (and extremely famous) L'arc~en~Ciel (Driver's High, Stay Away, Neo Universe.) (The band started in 1991.) X-Japan, Luna Sea and L'arc~en~Ciel, Penicillin, Glay were pretty much the first VK bands. Then Dir en Grey started. They started the path of VK today (and Jrock...). I worked at a record distributor in Montreal and had them order Jrock albums (mostly European releases at the time) and they had the albums listed in their directory for stores to order. I believe, stores did order the L'arc~en~Ciel album smile... not many though and the people I worked with though my music taste was bad... The GazettE, Dir en Grey, Gackt, D'espairsRay. Bands I recommend to you: The GazettE Exist Trace Miyavi hide Kagrra, (not the same style, rock and Japanese music mix. I love it.) Pierrot

Being a lifelong Metalhead, I head never ever heard of the Japanese Metal scene until last year, thanks to an American reaction channel. (I owe him!) And I never heard of "Hanabie" and Harajukucore until a few months ago, but I instantly fell in love with both of them. Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie: What a Metal playlist! And that is only the _tip_ of the iceberg. I _know_ that I only scratched the surface up to now. Incredible.

The girls are 13, 11, and 9 in the first video. I've played in a lot of bands, and they still played it better than a lot of grown-up bands I've heard. You really need to hear the live version of their "reimagined" version at the Teatro Metropolitan in 2022.
