This interview with Mark Salter was posted here on LinkedIn at the end of Novemer 2024. However, Mark refers to Senator McCain in the present tense, as if the Senator were still alive. When was this interview recorded?

This is such a beautiful interview, a chance to know her a little more intimately. I used to see her and the Miami Sound Machine at open houses early on.

I love this woman for 35 years, her music but also her spirit. I know now where it comes from. Kisses from France.

she worked at my local brothel in the 70s. She was very popular and used to do 2 for 1 specials which got her in trouble with the other girls. They tried to get her fired but the bosses wouldn't hear it

Too bad she is now helping greenwash genocide by doing PR for Aliyev's regime ahead of cop29 in Azerbaijan. What a shame to destroy her reputation.

I am curious to know what Robert Kasier's response would be to the comment by long ago KGB operative Yuri Bezmenov who defected to the West during the Cold War, who said Robert Kasier was a 'useful idiot' who portrayed himself as an expert on Soviet Union but in reality was not an expert.

Thank you for this great interview. Gloria is not only a great artist but also a wonderful person, that was very interesting. For years she was my number one favorite singer, that's no longer the case but she's still my number two.❤

It seems like she's just vanished from the music scene over the years. I wish her outstanding musical legacy was better preserved - a tour every now and then, remasters of her earlier works... We miss you, Gloria.

Her last album is from 2022. Just because the media is no longer paying attention doesn’t mean she has disappeared.

@@miss.wendy.v I guess that's how she wants it to be. I still feel that for a woman who's been so influential, very little is done to honor her legacy.
