Sully = hero. Airplane manufacturers are the villains. Cut corners to save $ meanwhile the public is at risk. Thank god Sully was the pilot this time and with his experience from the Air Force Academy there was a good result. That was a mother f**king miracle. Wake up air plane building people 🖕🖕🖕

I call it divine intervention. Sully was a glider pilot, having numerous hours in planes with no engine. Other pilots might have decided to try for the landing strip. Many factors had to have happened exactly as they did.

Can you imagine the feeling that everyone on the plane had when they heard several different boats sounding their horns and looking in the direction of the sound and seeing the Ferries "with a bone in their teeth" as they raced to the rescue?!?!?

I imagine he wasn't demoted! The Forker is a small jet, so I imagine that he rose to the rank of Captain on that Jet, and when he went to the bigger jets (737 & A320) as a career step upwards he became first Officer on a noticeably larger passenger jet.

If the man convicted of the bombing was guilty, the bomb HAD to have been placed on the feeder flight from Malta - only 2 options are possible - he replaced a piece of passenger luggage with the bomb - result: a missing bag reported at Frankfurt - he put the bomb in the hold in addition to the luggage - result: a report of an additional bag - neither scenario occurred - the bomb did NOT go on in Malta - al-Megrahi was innocent - QED The store owner who IDed al-Megrahi initially described a man several years younger and several inches shorter, only changing his story after being paid a seven-figure sum by US authorities - al-Megrahi was innocent - QED The prosecution in the Hague claimed the bomb timer was only used by Libya - this was a LIE, and the prosecution knew it - the timers had been used by intelligence services in Germany as well as by the Stasi - al-Megrahi was innocent - QED This was not the first time the UK Govt framed Libya - when WPC Yvonne Fletcher was killed outside the Libyan Embassy, it was stated she had been shot from the Embassy - one problem - bullet trajectory showed she had been shot from a 6th floor window - the embassy had only three floors! The only 6th floor was occupied by British intelligence, monitoring the protest outside the embassy......

To me Sully was both a man doing his job and a hero. Because in doing his job to as perfection as one can ask a man in that situation. He became a hero. The crew, and the responders were just as much to thank as the pilots. Their timely response, and actions saved those people's lives.

Man if you ask me these places know when shit wrong with their planes they make billions & don’t replace them or bring out the new ones ? They wanted him to crash probably America loves to do shit to our country then get money back of it he was smart to not listen to them & fly how it happened because he had a dream days after it happened that if he would’ve went to LaGuardia he would’ve crashed into the town of teleboro or the other way NY which is similar to 9/11

Ya gotta add the detail that the second captain was resting in first class when this happend, but he decided to enter cockpit in concern if the flying captain was incapacity due to low oxygen, taking on the risk of being sucked out through the window leaving his seat. Then the crew couldn't vocal communicate so all of them used hand signs, the second captain took a crucial role of taking over communications to ATC while the captain can remain focusing on flying the aircraft. The real moving part for me is that during this whole time the second captain was hand signing OK to his captain and the F/O to calm them and he used his hand to friction the captain's body to generate heat because it was too cold.

Hi! During 2024 I put my mind out of aviation videos due to a declining interest in aircraft investigations but the recent crash in South Korea somehow renewed it. I was re-visiting channels dedicated to air incidents like Mini Air Crash Investigation, TheFlightChannel and yours when I just discovered your farewell video. Good things always have an end as we say. I didn’t know you were a professional pilot, it’s making your videos more interesting in hindsight so I’ll definitely be rewatching your content! Happy new year and greetings from fellow Swiss from Geneva. Alles gut fur Sie!

The Pilot failed to see a bright white popped fuse....that means this whole incident was pilot error after the hydraulic hose for the landing gear developed a leak. The leaking fluid was a sign that the maintenance crew on this aircraft were total losers who overlooked key flight hardware. But worse was that neither of the two pilots (and crew members) saw the bright white popped out fuse just 4 inches away from the fuse they were told to look at. I mean really? They are not heros...they are a danger to passengers and the entire aviation community. They should have been fired immediately following the the public release of the official crash report.

@Cloudo55 20 күн бұрын
We don't know if the hose was leaking before the start, it might fail on takeoff. Moreover, boeing knew about hose failures and marked it as optional. I think working in the UX design team, I think boeing made a critical design error. All labels are white, the popped fuse should be yellow in order to stand out. White markers on black board with white labels is a dangerous big flaw.

I've just come here because of the plane crash just happened in South Korea today, 29.12.2024! The plane overrun the runway and finally hit a concrete wall, exploded and broke into pieces. The problem was, it had to rely on belly landing due to landing gear malfunction. The EMAS seems to only work if the landing gear works. Has there been any solution to stop an airplane without landing gear?

Very informative. Landed today into very thick fog. We must therefore have done an ILS landing. Everyone in the plane was instructed to turn their electronic devices off. I'm assuming this was to ensure no interference with the signals from transmitter. Incredible that the landing is automated. It was a firm landing but it was a safe landing.

My mum was on this flight and her oxygen mask didn’t work. She honestly didn’t think they were going to make it. I remember when my sister gave me a ring.. “Mum has been in a plane accident” Pause “She’s completely fine.” THANKS FOR THE HEART ATTACK, SISTER.
