I’ve had the iPad Air 2 for 10 years now. Still working great. However I can’t update iOS and it is stuck on iOS 12 due to apple not supporting upgrade for this iPad. Wish I could upgrade at least to IOS 14 to be able to download apps from the AppStore and enjoy more apps. I enjoy the basic apps and those which are compatible with this iOS version. So I’m thinking of buying the iPad mini 6

Hard to believe! I think you have an iPad Air 1, because that stops on iOS 12, also if you do have an iPad Air 2 on iOS 12, don't update it, it's rare.

You could probably download most apps and games but that doesn’t mean it will run them particularly well, I’d suggest atleast a 6th generation iPad for games and programs.

Definitely do not buy this iPad for gaming, I’d recommend at least a 6th generation if you need the cheapest one possible.

I think even an iPad 6th gen would have been a better investment than this one. Why did you picked such an old iPad? I understand not everyone can afford the newest tech… but you still had better working options than the air 2.

Yea… I kinda agree. A 6th gen is like $30 more on eBay and it’s 5x better all around. I think this person is from the Philippines and a lot of them don’t have a bunch of money and devices even older models are expensive.

Just asking because personally I don't think I was degrading anything, I was just saying that a lot of people in the Philippines can't afford the latest tech. I don't find that to be degrading at all but factual, a lot of the Philippines and other countries have high poverty rates. I wasn't judging just stating a fact, I'm from a place with pretty much poverty and understand people can't afford the greatest and best tech.

This is my first phone that i got for Christmas. Im using iPhone SE 2022 in the year 2024. Its a very good phone. My only downside is the battery, it goes down fast for me.
