This was a great clip! I love this song! At the very end of the song, when everybody holds the word satisfied, on at least one other version I have seen, Bill sings a descending bass line “soul’s been satisfied.” He didn’t do that here though, but I was kind of hoping he would.

I was in a Quartet and I sang the high parts just like Willie and a lady video taped it and sent it to him and he found me on Facebook and told me to continue to sing little brother. I have and may the Lord receive the glory for all that we do the help others know that he will return.

Im guessing this must've been filmed sometime in mid to late 1994ish? Terry was still in the GVB, but Michael isn't, so it had to have been sometime after news of his scandal broke in May of 94, shortly after the Dove Awards.

That's Joe Bonsall (tenor), Duane Allen (ead), Don Reid (baritone), & Noel Fox (bass). I'm sort of an expert on the Oak Ridge Bothers. They got their name from a box of tissues.

This song definitely puts a whole new spin on the old Gospel Song"When we all get to Heaven". "What a day that will be" is another good old Gospel Song that this song reminds me of. Can you imagine, when we're finally home with the LORD?!? What a time it's going to be!!!

WoW!!! Willie Wynn -- The **hog calling** tenor, and William Golden!-- Man!!! I'm shocked!!!- This dude was awesome in his prime!!! **The Golden boy** baritone with a great range, animated, and was actually a sharp looking man! LOL!!!! FOR REAL!!! YES!!!! This was the Oaks before their prime--- and definitely singing songs B4 their time!!! That's why they have always been a CLASS ACT, RELEVANT, VERSATILE, HAD GREAT TALENT TOP TO BOTTOM, UNIQUE HARMONIES, AND DIDN'T TRY TO BE LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD THEIR OWN VIBE AND UNIQUE SOUND---- THAT MADE THEM RELEVANT IN EVERY GENERATION, FROM THE 60S TO 2017!!!! (NO COOKIE CUTTER W/ THE OAKS--( And that's why I have always enjoyed these guys sound, there entire career has been ** OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!** THEY R WHAT THEY R--- PERIOD!!!!!! HaHaHa!!!! GOTTA LOVE EM!!!! From the first line in any song, You immediately recognize that " UNIQUE SOUND"!!!) ---- GOD BLESS THE OAKS!!!! KEEP ON ROCKING!!!!---- BJB PS.---- AM I THE ONLY GUY THATS A CRAZY OAKS FAN! I'M 51-- I'D LOVE TO HEAR WHAT SOME OF THOSE CRAZY *OAK FANS* OUT THERE WHO ARE OLDER, AND EVEN YOUNGER THAN ME, THINK AND WHAT YOU APPRECIATE MOST ABOUT THE MUSIC LEGEND OF THE OAK RIDGE BOYS.------SO, REPLY TO THIS TEXT-- AND TELL WHAT YOU HAVE ENJOYED ABOUT THE OAK RIDGE BOYS THROUGH THE YEARS-- AND SHARE SOME THINGS THAT YOU HAVE TRULY COME TO APPRECIATE THROUGH THE YEARS. ( FOR EXAMPLE:: WHAT DID U ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE UNIQUE SOUND, THE INDIVIDUAL VOICES, THE RADIO, TELEVISION APPEARANCES, THE LIVE CONCERTS, THEIR VERSATILITY IN SINGING,, GOSPEL, COUNTRY, COUNTRY ROCK, AND; **WHAT WAS THE POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS THEY MADE WHEN THEY TOOK THE BOLD STEP OF CROSSING OVER FROM SOUTHERN GOSPEL TO MODERN TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC???** WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PERSONAL LINEUP THROUGH THE YEARS, AND, DO YOU THINK AMERICA IS READY FOR ANOTHER GROUP LIKE THE OAKS IN 2017???---- NO WRONG ANSWER!!!! JUST SHARE YOUR HEART!!!!

Born in a world of sin Hopelessly lost, no peace within. Searching for love in a world of hate No way I could win. Then the Savior came my way He turned my darkness into day. And on that day I was born again Praise the Lord, I was born to win. CHORUS Born to win, hallelujah, I was born to win! I'll never give up, never give out, I'll never give in. No matter what Satan throws my way, I'll still go on in Jesus' name. Through His love and mercy that knows no end Praise His name I was born to win! Since I began to run this race Many the trials I've had to face. Mountains so high, valleys so low, and rivers so wide. But there's no need to worry, no need to fret Things may look bad but it ain't over yet. God said He'd go with me right to the end. How can I lose when I was born to win? REPEAT CHORUS No matter what Satan throws my way, I'll still go on in Jesus' name. Through His love and mercy that knows no end Praise His name I was born to win!
