I bought one of these a few months ago to use with my Gypsy Jazz guitar. I run both a K&K Pure floating bridge pickup and an Audio-Technica AT 831b into it. Great sound and balance/EQ options. Love it!

One of the best structured demo videos on youtube. Excellent ! This is how it should be done, clear concise and no waste of time or go-figure. If I may ask, what is the Salsa/Samba song around 3:00 called. Really great !

From time to time it is a good idea to buy new guitar strings, specially the 3 bass strings and also, to clean your guitar from dirt. The EBS Stanley Clarke Acoustic Preamp sounds terrible on guitar and should be used on bass. The rest of the video was not too bad.

I would love to hop in this as the third bass section !. These guys can hold a groove. I would bring some solo action. Alex is just doing it all, melody and then he finally solos it towards the end.

Wonderful preamp! I’m using it for electric bass. Such a good, clear and rich sound. Lets the instrument shine. The flexibility is great with that parallel/ serial modes , same for the loop section and filters. One thing I noticed: mine has got a switch for the 48V phantom power.. but the initial version like here seems that it doesn’t have it. Change in the model version?
@EBSSwedenАй бұрын
Thank you! ❤ Yes, there is a switch added to turn on and off the +48V Phantom power now. The first with this switch started to ship in the spring. It is the only difference from the previous version, so we did not make a lot of buzz about it.

you can connect multiple daisy chains right? like a 4 plug chain into another 4 plug creating 8 plug no problem signal loss?
@EBSSweden5 ай бұрын
Hi, the daisy-chain cables distribute power from one power supply to several units, so they have a different purpose from the patch cables that pass on the sound from one pedal to another. You can definitely plug one daisy-chain cable into another to extend the chain, but if you take two 4-plug cables, it will end up with 7 outputs, since one is needed to connect the cables together. There is no signal loss since they carry power and not sound, but the current depends on the output of the power source and how many units you connect. For example, if the power source provides 1A, 9V DC, and you connect 7 units, the total power requirements of the 7 units must not exceed 1A. Each of them will get 9V DC power though.

I'd rather listen to Henrik busting out these grooves on his own than to any Dirty Loops record. I really tried to like them, because they're obviously skilled, but found them unbearably overproduced and boring. Henrik should join a proper band. In fact, I think all musicians in Dirty Loops would do better in a proper band.
@EBSSweden6 ай бұрын
Here's a tip, if you like to see Henrik in a different setting, recorded all live in one take during the covid era. The guitarist is the one playing the power chords on the intro to the new Dirty Loops song Run Away by the way. Enjoy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3qpan-pYstkidkfeature=shared

Does the DI have a pre/post option?
@EBSSweden7 ай бұрын
It is always post EQ on this pedal.
@bobderosa40797 ай бұрын
@@EBSSweden Too bad. The sound guys I work with always want a clean signal that they can EQ for the mix.
@EBSSweden7 ай бұрын
@@bobderosa4079 it is possible to use a DI box before the pedal if you need a dry signal. Then you get both dry and wet signals to mix together. Why we chose to make this pedal with the post eq only, is because there are tools on the pedal to handle the acoustic phenomenons that can produce unwanted feedback, and if you bypass the eq, you might get these problems back. However, if you need a preamp with both options, check out the MicroBass 3 (ebssweden.com/content2/effects/ebs-microbass-3-professional-outboard-preamp/) which has two balanced outputs for pre- and post-eq at the same time.
