Interesting however I just creat a loop of what ever I made already I layed down which is usually the drums or a choped sample, then I play randomly for a few minutes and nearly always come up with something good first time, one take no editing needed. Next I chop the bit I want and My brain remembers what keys and chords will sound like when I play them and the actual name of the chords and progressions is not in My mind at all.

Enjoyed that, Does the MC505 have ratchets? (perhaps its too old to have that feature). Hope to see more of these great little vids you do :)
@tcmuze4 ай бұрын
I don't think so. Only thing I could think of is using the arpeggiator at a very high subdivision to get that effect.
@mbrombert2 ай бұрын
From what I remember it kiiiind of has ratchets in the sense that you can change up the speed/scale of the sequencer. So you can program something in 16th notes and change it to 32nd to 'add ratchets' in between the notes.... if that makes sense. I can't think of the proper way to word it and it has been well over 10 years since I used one. If you go to about 18 minutes in this video you can see what I mean kzbin.info/www/bejne/pF6zpKCHrdqLfpo (If I remember correctly you can also do it for musical notes too, not just drums).

@tcmuze5 ай бұрын
@og_rethaskateboarding77215 ай бұрын
@tcmuze5 ай бұрын
