This man is a total liar. John Nason never did wrestling on any significant level and while he speaks about his girlfriend being a teacher, he’s cheating on her with another woman. Most of what he says in this interview is a lie and it’s a shame that you have him on your program.

Great points. Let me add a couple if I may. Can man take the second hook for smoke on the top floor!!! Your irons guy will be very appreciative. Noticed something my last cockloft job that I find helpful in locating the seat. The fire apartment will probably be the one with no smoke in it. Don’t skip that one when popping doors because odds are the seat is above that one. I’m not gonna type the full explanation here but think about smoke travel hitting the underside of the roof. It’s not gonna go down first.

Nails it, this week I retired after 25 years in FDNY that never would have happened had I not knocked on the door of my local volunteer firehouse.

This is by far One of Your Best Podcast. I’m on our Recruitment Team at my Job. I have 44 years of experience in the field from Volunteer in Dutchess County to my Career department here in Durham NC. I have 14 months left and this year 2025 might be my last year teaching at our fire academy. Replacement has always been our biggest challenge. We are losing our Veteran FF’s and Officers. Great Job

Lt.Klett did my live basement training in 2000, on the east side of Indianapolis. One of the greatest classes I ever took. I have successfully used that training multiple times in Indianapolis, before retiring. Great information, hope some young guys are listening

Dope. In the beginning when the chief was talking about that fire he had with the new guy , he mentioned he had a whole routine he would give new guys on their first job , would be cool to hear a little more about that how he approaches that and what are some things he would recite to a new guy on the line Always cool to get those kinda tips from senior guys like that. 🤙

Great testimony brother. It takes crazy strength to put this out there. Keep your boys safe and always remember that the men who went before us deserve to be remembered and revered. May God bless you in all your efforts. We are given special gifts by our Heavenly Father that enables us to do this job. Let’s all keep that in the forefront of our minds and agree to always recognize those gifts for what they are, true blessings.

On a fire in recent months, my lower 33% of my backstep crew, that I can't get rid of, we're bee-bopping up the stairs and down the hall. I was at the fire apartment, forced it, saw the fire, closed it. Went back and looked down the hall and they are barely moving. I get in their shit to move faster. Later, after the fire, I get into them for the slow pace. "I move at my own pace", " I'm a man, not a dog, you can't disrespect me like that". They layer complained to the BFC who then got in my shit, in front of them. I have tried everything I know to improve them and then get rid of them. They should never have been hired in the fire department, let alone a fry cook. Lazy, entitled, and no physical ability whatsoever. I have several excellent members, but these lower 33% are disturbing the morale and reputation of the company. I never had this issue, as an officer, until the past decade, especially in the last 5 years.

What a joke. John Nason is such a fraud. He went to about 4 classes. The Elite Wresting gym called him a mark. That means a super fan with no talent. He quit and never went back.
