Did you do any electronic repair (s) to the Mobo before setting it up to use with a cable signal? Found a tossed out Casio 470 B to-day, tried new batteries, just got a white screen. Another YT channel suggested replacing the caps.

@Pacificbell yes, believe I did but didn't make too much of a difference, if at all. Found it in an e-waste dumpster! As a kind of hobby I look for electronics in dumpsters and curbside stuff! I tried better batteries and the screen seemed a little better, but no sweeping line, no static "white noise".

Goodwill has definitely raised their prices. I have other things that i collect, when i use to find them in 2019 it was like $3, now it's like 4,5,6 dollars for the same things. It's dumb, stuff shouldn't that high of a price.
