I agree! The idea discussed in the video is to be aware that if you only have 1 item with a cooldown it's very vulnerable to freeze and other crowd control. It can still sometimes be correct to only have 1 item with a cooldown.

It can matter for some items! For example - Dooleys Cores (starting item) get charged (which speeds up time til the next cooldown) from items to the left of them being used. Some skills also care about item placement, like Righty Tighty. Which slows an enemy item whenever you use your rightmost item.

You can Bazaar or you can be bizarre. Or both!

I assume you're talking about the "When you Haste, Poison x" text on Monitor Lizard. Yes Monitor Lizards ability only triggers when an item on your board gets Hasted, Charge doesn't trigger it. It doesn't even have to be the Lizard itself, which is why Companion Core (which hastes all your friends) is so good with it. Each individual item getting hasted is another trigger for the Lizard!

Haste will last the full 3 seconds. Even if the item goes off once, haste will continue into the next instance of the cooldown. A 3 second duration of haste will always last 3 seconds. Does that clear up any confusion?

@@BazaarMomo oh I think I get it now haste is like a buff that reduce your item cooldown by 50% and you can keep applying it to an item to extend the haste duration. But does that mean that it is useless to keep stacking haste on an item then, because the 1 sec haste will do the same job ?

@@NeutralRage Hmm, well to be clear if something only has 1 second of haste that would only last 1 real life second, and during that second it would push through 2 seconds of the items cooldown. It doesn't reduce the items cooldown, it just makes it cooldown twice as fast for the duration of the haste. So if I have a 5 second cooldown item and I give it one second of haste, during that 1 real life second it will do 2 seconds of the cooldown, meaning there will still be 3 seconds left after the haste has ended. 4 seconds total to cooldown if it only had haste for 1 second. Ideally, you want your item to have a lot of haste time, that way it is hasted for the entire fight.

I started with 7,000 cause I got the indiegogo package (I don't remember the details) from ~6 years ago. Still positive though! Especially if we include the 2k gems that it cost to unlock Pyg and Dooley!
