Hello Professor, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to bring to your attention the concerning impact of ai on our students, particularly regarding cheating during exams. Last week, I took an exam at a university (which I won't name), and I observed that more than half of the students were using AI tools. I was the only one who was confused and shocked, and it made me question whether I was wrong for not using IT myself. Therefore, I ask you to make students aware of the dangers of using and relying on AI completely in your next lecture. Thank you.

Greetings, dear Professor, I missed the live broadcast, but I watched the recording. First, I want to sincerely thank you for your effort in sharing your experience and knowledge with such a wide audience. I would like to share my perspective on writing at this moment. I believe that writing is more than just a means to convey messages, share ideas, or depict situations. In my opinion, writing is like an instrument and mastering its rules does not necessarily make someone a great musician. While I agree with you that mastering the foundations of writing is crucial, there is also something magic that makes a piece of writing captivating or compelling. For instance, there are people who have never formally studied art or stylistics but produce astonishing works, like pottery. Hence, stimulating Creativity is essential to help students abstractly blueprint and outline the content they want to express through writing, ultimately presenting it as a form of creativity. I am afraid, dear Professor, that I may have written a long comment, but I took this opportunity to practice my writing. 😄 Thank you once again for your efforts. Your student Hicham (First evening classes group 2015).

Don't you think that M is bilabial and nasal too. You're really simplifying phonitics sir. Our teacher at the University 12 years ago made it really difficult for us just like he was teaching us Chinese. Congats.

Salam professor and thank you for this interesting and insightful linguistics lesson. I have a suggestion if you don't mind ; why don't you use PowerPoint or word document when explaining instead of that whiteboard? I find it difficult sometimes to see what you are writing on it. Thanks in advance dear.

As someone who has extensively researched topics like 'How to create a winning CV' and 'How to successfully pass an interview,' I find that this video covers the most essential aspects that fresh graduates should know before transitioning from academia to professional life. I highly recommend the ALX Africa course, Professional Foundation, which is completely free and fully funded by Mastercard. It provides a clear and comprehensive understanding of the skills and strategies needed to successfully make the transition from academia to the workforce.
