I was about to say that must be a 68, because it has front vent windows, but its a "post car". It can be a 69, post cars still used vent windows into 69.

Those in charge of sourcing the the cars for these episodes really had a thing for the poor mans Grump Lump hood scoops easily made from backwards mounted mopar pro stock scoops...."Hey Eddie....Call JC Whitney and order another case of those snazzy hood scoops....we got some cars to wreck" Poor Camaro😢

It's funny the car never took off but something about patrick swayze in this role really captured him well as an actor. The vulnerability that he portrays is really quite remarkable in this role. I'm inclined to take him more seriously as a actor from seeing it.

It is highly unlikely that a 6,000 lb 1957 Cadillac limo would be able to keep up with the Saab on a curvy snow covered back road through the woods.

I really love these old cars, and I hate it when they are destroyed in movies or anywhere, even though for many people they are worthless to me they are incredible, that old chevelle gave a lot of battle until the last moment, a warrior
@siliconecheese697Күн бұрын
well also at the time they filmed this it was the equivalent to a 2012 ford fusion nowadays. a classic car now was a pos you could buy for $1000 some years ago
@sangueiliultra6906Күн бұрын
@@siliconecheese697 I think I've seen you before, but getting back to the subject I hadn't seen it that way, back then they weren't worth much because they were relatively "cheap" and common cars, That's a little sad considering the quality they had in all their parts.

Must have been shot 78-84 - you couldn't shoot a period car chase nowadays with that many 70s cars in the background.

The last scene at the very end was filmed in Virginia at Dulles Airport before it was finished and it turned into Dulles International. The Dulles access road was also a popular place to drag race before it was finished. I did my share of running down that road in my 440 Dodge.❤️🇺🇸❤️🏁❤️🏁❤🇺🇸❤️

Magic car on the outside it’s a 71 full size full frame 351 column shift automatic.Under the hood it’s a big block unibody and black.Inside it’s still an automatic but sometimes it’s a 4 speed (probably a 71 mustang dash ,shifter and brake pedal.
