Cool idea! Are you thinking that the first octave and the next two 16ths are all played with left hand? Or maybe the right hand would play the first octave?
@RomanticScores68Күн бұрын
@@IsacksonStudio The LH could play it or the RH could help by playing one note from the octave. The RH playing it all is very awkward so not recommended.

damn bro, the normal Chopin etude is already absurdly difficult and you made it even more difficult☠️

Difficult to imagine there was someone sitting around playing Chopin's original piece and thinking to themselves "this is just too damn easy. I'm gonna make it harder."
@RomanticScores689 күн бұрын
10-5 is actually pretty easy compared to other Etudes by Chopin so it's fine. The problem is that a ton of pieces based on 10-2 and 25-6 exist. Like that one 25-6 Etude but in sixths..
@BlueArchiveClassicalPiano9 күн бұрын
I don't know any other etude that went through as much transformation and suffering as Chopin's black keys. Godowsky, Hamelin, Philipp, Galston, so many people wanted to mutilate and dissect this piece to its absolute limit.
@RomanticScores689 күн бұрын
@@BlueArchiveClassicalPiano 64-1 is even worse - countless concert transcriptions and Etudes based on it. Also does Galston's Etudes after 10-5 have a human recording? I could only find MIDI.
@BlueArchiveClassicalPiano9 күн бұрын
@@RomanticScores68 I was referring to just etudes, but yes, the minute waltz is even worse. As for the Galston Etude, it appears that Artur Cimirro had a performance, but the video is now private. Other than that, I don't think such a recording exists.

There are moments in music that just show the absolute genius of the composer. To my ears, the phrase at 2:25 is one such moment. How does one even come up with something like this?

It's long enough - at least in the trio section it's so well developed and worked with, which is, imo more important than the theme itself....Plus it is meant to represent the youngh and it's fickleness
