You are right. It was never released on CD (There are other compilations I haven't seen in CD: "love songs" from 1978 (Capitol) and "the beatles ballads" (Dec. 1980)). Because Beatles Again was a compilation (but with unreleased tracks in an album format, like Hey Jude, The Ballad of John and Yoko, or Don't Let me Down, for example), I guess neither Capitol or EMI were later interested on re-release it. There was another point of this compilation: at that time, Allen Klein was their manager and wanted to capitalize sells with the release of this compilation in 1970, prior to the release of Let it Be album in March the same year. The album was supossed to be called Beatles Again, but at the time of pressing, the name was suddenly change to Hey Jude, but still the "Beatles Again" was on the back of the sleeve and first prints of the album. So both names are valid. Many people just refer to "Hey Jude" album, but the original name was "Beatles Again"
