Great job indeed, even though the copper stain is not my cup of tea. Nevertheless, excellent work

when you say "paint" do you mean "watered down exterior acrylic house paint" ???? Because "Burnt Umber" and "Raw Umber" is a colorant , NOT a "paint" .... I suspect you meant "masonry colorant" as in "mix dry powder with water" and spray and brush it on .... The word "paint" is maybe a poor choice of words here

Some tips from my experience... Type S mortar from Home Depot works well for creating a wall like this. Starting with concrete board, I built up some areas with foam board and galvanized wire mesh so that I'd have pretty substantial bumps and deep crevices. Use construction glue to glue a small piece of foam board onto the wall, then cover it with wire mesh and use two or three 2-1/2 screws and washers to secure the mesh to the studs behind the wall. I wanted the decorative wall that I built outside my basement sauna to look more like granite walls at Yosemite or Squamish. So they have larger, rounded, smooth flat surfaces with large cracks and crevices between them. Before starting, I printed some pictures of Yosemite/Squamish granite walls and boulders for reference. After a day or hardening, I scraped any unnatural blobs, grit, or lines down on the face of the rock with a metal spatula. It now looks like like a glacier wore it down. I built my own stamp by squirting 4 tubes of silicon caulking into a bucket of water that had a generous amount of Dawn dish detergent added. With Dawn on my hands, I then lifted the ball of silicon out of the bucket (it won't stick to your hands!) and onto the top of a large rock in my garden with an interesting pattern. The rock was first wetted with the dish soap mix. After 3 hours, the stamp had hardened and peeled off nicely. My wall is done and looks totally realistic. I'm about to try painting it with an airbrush and sponge. I want to get a speckled granite look with lightened edges.

Question: will the cement be strong enough to sustain even light traffic? My opinion is that if you placed some strengthening bars in the cement it would give it a chance - it was only a couple of inches thick at most.

Why didn't you mix the color in with the concrete so it wouldn't fade? My eyes are drawn to the horizontal lines separating each mold.... may want to make them less uniform?
