This tune's such a banger, and so relevant today- It's easier to sing than Superstition, and the keyboard part is simpler. No, the band leader says, we need to play superstition- people wanna hear superstition. Grumble.

Do folks in the black community still use the term "jungle fever" to describe an interracial relationship based on racial mytholigy and not genuine affection? I've never heard anyone use the term black or white, neither in the early 90s nor today.

Jungle Fever explores the beginning and end of an extramarital interracial relationship against the urban backdrop of the streets of New York City in the early 1990s. The film received positive reviews, with particular praise for Samuel L. Jackson's performance, and was also commercially successful.
