Dude great sets! I've got a pocket marrow myself, her standing HP is really solid poke in neutral, as it hits fast and covers a lot or ground (similar to storm's HK but not nearly as good). The damage also isnt bad and it cancels nicely into bonerang or bone super on block and hit, sometimes even catching stray assist calls. also on block strings, doing ricochet slash -> air bone super is a really strong assist bait, would reco labbing that a bit

I wanna say your channel is a total inspiration. I play on Switch, just hit Gold rank, and keep seeing the same high-tier teams over and over. I was asking myself if I need to give up on playing the characters I actually enjoy in order to remain competitive beyond a certain point, and videos like this prove I just need to keep grinding. Just be sure that the person isn't cornered when you do the dhp, call Juggenaut ground, gamma crush as it doesn't work properly on someone cornered, This is a mid-screen combo only, so that's when I use the Capcom assist in a different combo [dlk,dmk, call Capcom-b, gamma charge XX Gamma Crush].

You didn't get "destroyed", nor was you outplayed; what you got was a wakeup call. Fighting games are like any other competitive game, (like checkers, chess, connect four, blackjack, etc.) there is more to it than just the surface. You have to practice, you have to develop strategies, you have to create tactics, and you have to observe your enemy. It wasn't that you suck, nor you are a scrub, it was that you didn't know what to do and started to panic. In every match you spat out victory, just to chew on defeat. But don't let this discourage you. You need to watch this over to realize what you did wrong. What you need to do is go into practice mode. It is evident that you had sometime there by the Wolverine/ Thanos bubble combo [nice btw], but there is more than ONE combo. You need at least one or two long punish combos, AND multiple tiny combos from many attacks. You learned a combo only to have the situation not allow it. Go into practice and learn your attack values and frames. Learn when you can't move after block stun and when you can. Learn which attack pops them up and which attacks launch them. Learn your routes. Know which attack flows into, and/or cancel into the other. You dropped a lot of damage because you got caught up in the moment and just press buttons. Once you couldn't get into the position to do your one combo you flailed around and conceited space and momentum to the opponent. Most of the damage you are going to get to control the match will be from small combos. Don't look to make a combo video; try to make a highlight reel. There is no such thing as a bad team, except when your team doesn't know about the other 85 characters in the game, then the best team is the worst team. It was obvious that you didn't know what the other characters could do. Play with more than just your team. Learn how to beat the rest of the cast with your team. Go into practice with moves you don't understand to gain insight. This leads to your biggest problem-- you can force a careless advance, you can force a bad call, you can even force unprepared defense, but you cannot force your opponent to play the match style YOU want. Whenever you were luv or advantage with your opponent, you just stopped your pressure and tried to do silly mind games and "FGC mannerism" [I should be doing X because I'm this character]. THAT'S WHAT LOST YOU THE MATCHES. It shows that you at least put some time in this game, but your opponent was a runaway-cheap-noob. Your opponent didn't care about any of that; your opponent just wanted to run away and use whichever button seemed the "safest" at the moment. You could have gotten past that because you did, but every time you dashed your hopes into the ground. This shows you wasn't paying attention to your opponent. You went autopilot and then panicked. When facing cheap opponents, you have to figure out if they are using a gambit or are they just cheap, and the best way is to raise the price. Make sure that every button press is a trade-off. Either by crushing defense or overwhelming offense. The FGC is small within fighting games, and most of them don't play the games. They find a cheap option, glitch, exploit and/or copy someone else. That is why a lot of big name tourny players don't do online ranks (or in general) unless it is within their FGC bubble, because the average dude that don't know FGC "rules" will usually bop them. What I am trying to say is damn what the FGC says, and curse what an "influencer" says. When you are in a match, YOU are in the match. Watch your opponent, figure out their ploy and crush it. Have your own brain; play the game for yourself. To conclude: Learn your routes, think for yourself, develop gameplans, and don't neglect the roster. Accept your opponent for what they are doing-- if they are cheap then raise the price; make it cost them. You didn't lose because he was better; you lost because you gave it to him. Push this "L" into a "V" and be excellent my dude.

Incorporate dash-buffered jumps. They have double the range. You can be full screen's distance away, and if you dash-buffer a jump on someone falling in from the side of the screen with lk, you can land and launch them just after they leave block-stun, but before they touch the ground for a free combo. You can also dash-jump into a Cable doing TK grenades if close enough for an air throw. There are 4 kinds of normal jumps towards for Hulk. Normal jump towards, silent dash-jump towards [do the jump early enough that Hulk doesn't make a sound], Growling dash-jump early, growling dash-jump late. Mix up all of these to mess with the opponent's assist call timing, and other timings. These are also great for crossing up someone and leaving something like Juggernaut-a[ground], or Sentinel-y, or some other assist behind them as cover.

bbhood/jugg is a HARD counter to wolverine sadly. Gotta play extra safe and chip away at them to be successful.

0:54 Akuma could have died or almost died outright if Hulk had Juggernaut-a, or Doom-b. That was a mid-screen hit. Dhp, Juggernaut-a assist, activate Crush, hold towards. Dlk, dmk, Call Doom-b, hard Gamma Charge, activate Crush super timed to either narrowly graze them on the way up, or just barely miss. Guide the asteroid by holding in the opposite direction from which Hulk's Gamma charge went. Both of these are dedicated mid-screen double crush combos.
