I’ve listened and loved this man’s music for many many years. The one and only time I went to see him in concert he had a stroke the night before. He came on stage and sang but he was not doing well. I felt for him. He tried to perform for his audience but the concert was very short. Sad to think I never saw him again. RIP Gordon my friend.

Very nice. Your voice seems to suit Gord's range. He is my favorite singer songwriter all time. I hope you find success and happiness. The autoharp fit right in.

I commented on your other excellent video. If you ever want to make me a video showing how you are playing your guitar, it would be much appreciated. There are almost no teachers of Lightfoot's guitar that I can find. Cheers

The method used in this video is called "Travis picking" - should be a bunch of tutorials available on KZbin.

Darn man. You really nailed this. I, too love Lightfoot and this is one of my favorites. It's hard to believe that out of 07 views, you only got 3 thumbs up. Keep doing what you are doing. You are very good and, I wish you the best. Cheers.

I attended over 70 Lightfoot concerts (1977-2021), and he never did this one. Severely underrated song. Another underrated song is "A Tree Too Weak to Stand" from the "Cold on the Shoulder" album. Thanks for posting all these songs. Solid performance on "Hi'Way Songs."

been a gordon fan my whole life, even though his voice failed in the end, he never gave up on his craft, and never lost his appeal to his fans, a great and humble man and an inspiration.

Kathy Hinkley: I saw him at the Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington, D. C. In 1974. I sat waaaay in the back but it was a great concert. I'm a life-long devoted fan and we're so lucky for the huge collection he left us. May his soul rest in peace. 🙏
