Talent springs eternal. Neil Diamond’s “band” is head & shoulders above the rest. I listen & so admire the musicians putting lifeblood into the great compositions written & produced by the one and only DiAMOND. Thank you God.

Richard played on Neil Diamond's Hot August Night shows and was in Neil's band for many years before going on to work with many other stars and producing some fantastic guitar music. He also wrote the music to Forever in Blue Jeans which has one of the best guitar intros ever. Rock on Richard 👍

Pas vandaag 31/1/'21 deze opname ontdekt...hartelijk dank voor deze post! Vanaf de 1ste sec.was het duidelijk 😔 dit wordt onze laatste live belevenis... 😒 maar...voor altijd in ons hart. Wél jammer dat het aandoenlijke eind van het concert ontbreekt. Waar zitten al die fans hier...die likes moeten naar omhoog 😊

@@deloresdindlebeck918 Rodney reguarly wears a McNeese shirt around Nashville. His connection and bond to Louisiana is amazing. Rodney did sessions with the Hackberry Ramblers. A true artist.

It wasn't underrated in the late 70's when he wrote it. It was a big hit for the Oak Ridge Boys and an album cut for Emmylou Harris.

Lost count of how many times I've seen Neil Diamond in concert. Saw the 50th anniversary tour in Manchester England and was glad to see Richard Bennett back in the band along with his son. Neil looked frail and I wondered how long he could continue at this pace. Hot August Night is the greatest contemprary live music album ever recorded.
