I really love this game ever a lot. But as soon as we get into the game there’s really not much there , for us builders since that they are emphasizing on the whole BUILDER ASPECT , it’s like not basing it around through the eyes of a Builder as how they’re currently calling us as from in the game itself. But also whenever there’s a question that’s from Jasmine , from in the game it’s like absolutely ignoring it completely. But it also forces us to wait for certain things to come even though it should have happened , like from at the beginning of the game itself instead of having us to wait for a every huge amount of time. But there really should be more things for us Builders , but also giving us Builders a huge discount like when buying stuff from the Commerce Guild. But the Water Tower in there it really shouldn’t be in there at all , cuz they really should have us Builders to make the water for them all instead of having the dang water tower. But also having other things and stuff for us Builders as we unlock them , instead of just forcing us to wait for things to happen.

I played it with my godson there a store where yes you can rent games so we rented it now I gotta buy it

I had never really played new leaf until after new horizons. I still play both to this day. I still enjoy new leaf more. I'm not huge on decorating. I'm fine just breeding my flowers and having a super natural town. I did enjoy hhd though and I enjoyed the dlc for new horizons. I'm just hoping they bring back some of the things I was really missing from new leaf and more dialogue with villagers. I don't like having the same conversation everyday. It's like talking to robots.

I LOVE Paleo Pines. I got it in the Nintendo store for 1/2 off and have been playing it non-stop ever since. I agree about the house and small pocket space but in my opinion the positives far outweigh the negatives. The game is beautiful, in the evening as the sun goes down the colors of the sky are amazing! Theirs a rainbow after the rain that is gorgeous over certain parts of the valley. The dinos are cute and fun and the make this adorable little trilling noise at you when they're happy. ❤

I really appreciate your review. I had this game on a wishlist, but wasn't sure if I would like it. I don't normally play too many "cozy" games, as you called it. But with a lot of negativity lately, something wholesome, positive, and uplifting like what you demonstrated in your review seems much more appealing that "strategy" and "wargaming" titles. Thanks for providing your unique perspective and encouraging more goodness in the world.

I'm a huge fan of ACNH, Critter Cove, and other life sims like that. I had high hopes but was terribly disappointed in this game. This game was simply so boring it felt unfinished. Going through the first few days of progression felt like office work, but less satisfying.

one big thing that made me stop playing New Horizons was the build mode when terraforming your island. i hate it so much 💀 my island is STILL unfinished since unlocking terraforming 🤣

I got it on Xbox and absolutely love it! I highly recommend against getting it for switch. There are parts in the story that drag on and some parts that are busywork; however, what helped me was to take breaks and not binge this game.

Sandrock is 1000% better on PC. Both My Time At games are notorious for having problems with the Switch version.

The only thing that I agree with you is the lack of club tortimer, I forgot how fun that survival island minigame was and how many hours I spent . The moment I discovered that was almost all I was playing nonstop , and see people in the backyard island , but the main thing for me was the survival island minigame of club tortimer. They need either a new AC game or an update 3.0 ACNH. POST-EDIT: nvm I just heard you ssay in the end "thank you for watching and comment below" <-- this is code for I am not going to read anything and I only feign interest so people comment on my video and gather algorithm attention. It's what it became to mean anyway.

thank you for your video! i ended up trying this game out and frankly I cant get past some things. The art direction and creative quality is just --- bad? off putting? low-qual? old school without the asetheic nostalgic good feeling? graphics in this game just look like trash even on PC.

I'm so glad you included those nostalgic commercials for Animal Crossing in this retrospective. I watched those so much on a demo disk that I got. I love Animal Crossing, especially the first game which helped me through a rough depressive episode as a kid. I owe this series a LOT!
