His score for Polar Express is the most emotionally expressive and gut-wrenchingly beautiful music I’ve ever heard. It gives me emotions I cannot describe. This man has given us all so much. Absolute legend!

I can watch the train scene A MILLION times. I've only watched the entire move once. Its a LONG boring movie....until the train scene. One thing I didn't like about the movie is the color...not just this movie but almost everything since the 2010s. WHat happened to technicolor. Go back and look at Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory etc. The Colors Popped off the screen. Now everything seems to have a Olive green filte

I've always enjoyed the Lone Ranger, and it's a shame it didn't revive the western genre. It's more fun than people give it credit for, and it's not exactly an exact copy of the Pirates of the Carribean films. The ending train chase is probably my favourite train chase in cinema because it's so grand scale. Hans Zimmer knocked it out of the park too.

I saw this film in a cinema with "D-Box" seating, that had adjustable intensity for vibrations and movement--the only time I have done so. This movie, this theme, with those seats was beyond intense. You felt the galloping of the horses, the explosions, the rattle and clack of the trains across the tracks, and you felt the William Tell Overture in your very bones. It was an experience I'll not soon forget, even though 11 years have already passed.

Can someone tell me what happened to the soundtrack with the song Merry Mission by Dionne warwick? I loved that song why is it removed from KZbin, Spotify, Amazon music, and Apple Music. What’s going on what is this ?? Where is the song!!??

4:15 I don’t think the score is mimicking anything. That’s actually how the original Finale of the William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini goes. It lengthened here not to mimic gunshots but rather because the score had to be made to fit the scene. To do so, part of it had to be extended, and that was the part that made the most sense. That’s it. Any resemblance to the gunfire would be coincidental since the composer wouldn’t have known in advance how the sound effects would sound.

That’s it. Any resemblance to the gunfire would be coincidental since the composer wouldn’t have known in advance how the sound effects would sound. Also, can you imagine how difficult scoring this must have been?! For most films the composer has the benefit of working from scratch, meaning that they can fully customize the score to fit the scene. But here, Zanelli couldn’t actually do that; he had to score the scene using a piece of music that wasn’t just pre-existing, but very well-established and VERY well known (“Finale” is EASILY as iconic as, if not more so than, the Lone Ranger), but DIDNT fit the sequence. So he had to re-tool “Finale” so that it DID fit the scene AND incorporated Zimmer’s themes, and he had to do it all in such a way that the result wouldn’t sound like a corruption of the original piece by Rossini. Small wonder Zanelli took two months to figure this piece out.

Slight nitpick: The caption on the circus photo says: “Eddie & Teddy on the road with Dad 1906”. Therefore, it was his DAD who worked in the circus, & likely taught both of his boys those skills.

And Gem Titans is LIGHT YEARS better than SU because it's not just about gems, but about a massive family of Celestial Cosmic Elemental ANGELS. And Connie Razor instead of being an overpowered main character is the main present VILLAIN. She isn't just given everything she wants like in Steven universe. That's not good messaging or even good storytelling! Connie is restricted by her parents THROUGHOUT THE FIRST SEASON OF GT, and the best way i could describe her is a rebellious psychopathic mastermind. She masterminds 9/11, columbine and Uvalde Texas, , the return of the Diamonds, blizzards and avalanches, and even forms an entire empire of demons with the help of her friend, Dr. William Bradshaw, who is a real person and a demonologist. But the Titans survive and fight back against Connie's armies of demonic infernal warriors but they just barely manage to win and save the world. Connie's not one to give up, so she makes a unique weapon filled with this dangerous red smoke. As the Titans are searching around the world as well as Equestria for any more demons, they are in South America at one point and encounter this cave that Connie is hiding out in. She waits until the Titans are within range and gasses them, with the red smoke as they all begin to cough and feel a loud and very painful pop inside their bellies. They immediately escape the cave and see Dr. Maheswaren for a checkup. After examining them, she gives them some heartbreaking bad news, their wombs have been destroyed, leaving our heroes devastated. But with the help of their ancestors the Galaxies, the Girls are each given back what Connie tried to take away. And each of the couples in GT end up having kids after all. Saint Jayken and Capis have a daughter named Kayla and a son named Kinko, Anneliese Michel and Peter have a son named Gabriel, Felix and Tourmaline have Rafael, Jonathan and Goshenite have a daughter named Maya, And Singfire and Kenneth have a son named Kyle. And outta all these beloved characters, who are the Angelic Elementals, Goshenite has quite a story to tell! Her character is essentially a Tragic Angel, and after everything she went through, she finally snaps and becomes one of the main antagonists in the six seasoned sequel series Starrier Skies.

They never thought in their wildest dream that pause music in a N64 game would become one of the most iconic video game tracks. If they ever do a full remake they better get him to remaster the tracks.

For the Diamonds in Gem Titans, i'm willing to bet i can design them better in my own mind than Rebecca and her staff can on paper. Purple Diamond is based on Daphne from Scooby Doo; Mystery Incorporated, and Black Diamond's design is inspired by Mavis from Hotel Transylvania. And Stellar Diamond, the Queen of gem kind is inspired by Princess Leia from Star Wars.

Thank you so much Rebecca for being such an inspiration. I just graduated from film school a few months ago and started my local Tv station as a production designer and makeup artist. My dream was always to do animation and voice acting. Watching your shows, hearing you songs has served such a big inspiration for me. I’m so scared to make that shift into animation because so much of my identity is based in film. But, I reallyyyyy feel like it’s my calling and vocation. Watching your interviews and hearing about your creative process has brought me so much insight and drive to take that step. I brought your delux Steven universe sketchbook with one of my first pay checks a few months ago, it’s really hard to ship to my country, so I was so creative to have been able to have one. Thank you once again, I adore Steven Universe and Adventure time growing up watching them after primary school and highschool. And I still continue to love them through my university time and now internship and job. I hope to oneday open up an animation / voice studio and production house here in South Africa after I attend animation school one day hopefully. Sorry I such so much, but I really felt like writing this. Even if you never read this and it get lost in the rabbit hole of the internet. Thank you Rebecca Sugar, I hope to meet you one day in the industry❤
