Those Breeze commercials were alluded to in Bill Anderson's 1975 hit "Country Dj": "No, Porter Wagoner is NOT MARRIED to Dolly Parton!"

Who was Streisand’s musical director for her recording of this gem? Was her phrasing her’s or did she get direction?

no doubt this series made folks buy from their local businesses and sold records of these stars. this pitchman makes you want to knock heads together at the local tv stations to secure a "change of mind". ex-mafia members turned salesmen. sign me up, bossman!!!!!

Hourly strike is quite nice. Wasn't expecting that. Not a fan of the design however.

60 years ago. That was in the late 50's, early 60's. That is when all those shows were on WSM in Nashville. I saw them as a 10 to 12 yr. old!

I first discovered this song in this performance by the brilliant Rita Payes - when she was only 14 years old! She was a true prodigy (along with Andrea Motis, on trumpet), and has become one of the best jazz trombonists in Europe, if not the world. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHqzZWWcgaaIm9k

Cheaply made towels and sometimes there'd be a drinking glass in the box. People thinking they're getting something for FREE buying some weak detergent. It worked. My mum bought it.

If I remember correctly, the commercial went on a little longer and the two of them harmonized "In boxes of breeze" with their two singing voices. Maybe that part was left off here due to song credit royalties?
