I float this section from Bennett to Barclay all the time and catch quite a few Rainbow Trout, it's a great river especially in the fall when it's not busy at all, there are a some hazards. That log at 25:45 seems new, but I think that uprooted tree on the left of it is new-ish also which makes it harder to get through there. I used to be able to go left there but I think it's blocked off now.

@samuellopca2 ай бұрын
So what is your conclusion for climbing? Can it follow without anyone controlling it?
@colby_rogers2 ай бұрын
@samuellopca sometimes. If there are trees in the way or if the route is overhanging the drone won't be able to avoid those obstacles. However I've found plenty of situations where I will use it. Overall I'm happy with it. If you fly in manual mode and just place it in position , it will just hover .
@samuellopca2 ай бұрын
@@colby_rogers have you tried increasing distance from you in the app so it clears the overhang? And what mode do you use?
@colby_rogers2 ай бұрын
@samuellopca I did try the far mode. The high far mode goes to high for overhang. But selecting the flat medium did alot better for climbing.

Thanks for your work on this. Will it track you from other positions such as flying beside you or in front of you?
@colby_rogers2 ай бұрын
It does have a mode that follows you from the front. I am not sure about the side track. I know if you have a remote for it, you can absolutely side track. I'll have to try these out this weekend. Thanks for watching!

Nice job! I hate to be the keyboard belayer but I'd definitely recommend tidying up that knot a little by cinching it closer to your tie in points, and having a shorter tail end of the rope, or adding a stopper knot just to keep the tail end out of the way. Pretty easy when you're pumped to grab the tail end and clip that into a quickdraw by mistake! Happy climbing, and stay safe
