Brother, this workout has been my physio for the past 6 months for an over 20+ years injury ... Thank you doesn't cover it. I'm so much healthier I can almost do the intermission squats like you do. Is there a follow up from here or should I stick with this? Extremely happy and thankful either way. Hope you're doing well. Thanks again.

So wearing gloves is to difficult is it
@UnityGymOnline2 күн бұрын
Wearing gloves is like wearing an arm brace to help with bicep curls. You're as strong as your weakest link. Wear gloves and your hands will be weak. Calluses are just part of training.

@@UnityGymOnlinewhat a load of nonsense. Why do people use wraps for deadlifts?
@UnityGymOnline2 күн бұрын
@xerikl Good question, people use wraps for deadlifts for many reasons. Could be because of injury. But the deadlift and all its variants is the one strength movement that using wraps to overcome a weak grip is an acceptable strategy. However, wraps are not gloves and have an entirely different purpose. Edit: The deadlift trains more muscles in the body than other traditional strength training movement. If you're serious about strength, you don't want a weak grip to limit how much you deadlift. And if you'd like an example of one of the strongest people in the world, our friend Sebastian Oreb AKA Australian Strength Coach, strenght coach for Hafþór Björnsson never uses gloves and rarely uses wrist wraps. At least every time we've worked out with him. However, when it comes to hanging, pull ups and calisthenics, no one is using wraps to overcome a weak grip. And although there are times when gloves are used by some (including me, although very rarely), I would much prefer to have strong hands that can handle the load my muscles can handle.
@UnityGymOnline2 күн бұрын
@craigwebb4012 Sure thing. You are as strong as your weakest link. If your hands are weak, you are weak. Folks who rely on gloves because hanging and pull ups hurt their hands will remain weak as a whole, even when their pull ups increase. Because as soon as you remove their gloves, their hands are just as weak as when they started training. Strength training is done to make you strong. It makes sense that your hands should also adapt and become stronger.

Rather than doing rotator isolation movements, aren't normal compound shoulder exercises such as pullups, bent over rows, face pulls, etc sufficient to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles.
@UnityGymOnline3 күн бұрын
No, none of those strengthen the external rotators of the rotator cuff. You need to train instability

Thank you for this exercice im gonna give a try. Just to summarize my case I have 2 tears in my shoulder (no tendons or biceps tears) and it's been a year since it happened. I managed to get rid of most of the pain and also gain mobility but I still have Big problems for overhead press and bench pressing. I'm a powerlifter so I need to figure a way to bench pain free. Cortisons shots help me but it doesn't last long... Is there any program I can do to to get rid of this pain definitly ? It keep popping and feel unstable even with my rehab exercices.
@UnityGymOnline3 күн бұрын
Dude you can NOT rely on cortisone shots! Each one will permanently weaken the tendons in your shoulder. How many have you had? I recommend downloading the slap tear rehab blueprint. But I can't share it here as your tube doesn't allow clickable links on shorts. Go to my channel and the link is there.
@darylschlup87803 күн бұрын
I only had one because I know it affects tendon but that’s the only thing that worked and got me pain free 95%. All my efforts for rehab and rest and other therapy such as prp failed. I’m kind of depressed because I’m a powerlifter and I want to keep benching …. I’ll go and find your link thank you mate 💪🏼

@darylschlup8780 you're welcome, know exactly how you feel. It was horrible for me too. But you can fix it!
@darylschlup87803 күн бұрын
I feel good for everyday simple move as long as my arm don’t do overhead mouvement. Sometimes I feel a click or a pop in my shoulder and it’s unstable and then suddenly big pain. But I’m still able to pull up with 50kg, dips 40-50kg. I can’t heavy bench press and heavy overhead press or incline bench atm. When I try to do scapula press I feel unstable and some pain in the joint. It’s only bothering me for my sport activities but I used to bench 170kg so im really annoyed about my lack of strenght and stability and pain in my left shoulder…
