The US accents I adore are the Brooklyn (NY) & a deep south one. So lyrical to the ears. And I only really like to hear the word 'lush' in a Welsh accent for some reason! Dont stop with the jokes or the talking. thats exactly why most of us watch i love listening to you wee chats of a evening . I would love to hear a few stories of your childhood antics and off course more about J's little idiosyncrasies always entertain. Hair is still looking great apparently you should only wash it once a week if you can get away with it . Nice bit of fun but I tell you, that is a different Woking I grew up knowing. My parents were Woking people but moved to Reading just prior to the 1940s wartime. As it happened you showed a brief Christchurch & my sweetheart & I were married there during 1966. It has changed there but Woking is always close to my heart.

I swear lady s u r completely rocking it at the minute the hair is just goregous and you are looking better and better in each upload .... not being funny but i really think you should look into doing some modelling i had a friend who you remind me off and she did it on the side whilst at uni worth doing some research on. I am with ypu on the j thing aka mum my girls call me mummy most of the time however the eldest always use to scarstocally call me mummy dearest she only does that now when i annoy her. The reason being i am like your mum not the most traditional in any shape or form although they are my life i struggled when they were younger and elise wss the most affected. We all have fab relationships as adults but not the normal.mother daughter type but it works . Hey Sarah...loving the hair and eyes! My take on your dream is that you are facing all your fears as you mentioned in the last video so they are probably in your sub conscious mind which often provides the substance for our dreams - I don't know, its just a thought. I did not realise The Range did make up- and oh my I would love those pickled onion crisps= I adore Space Raiders pickled onion crisps. May I ask why you call your mum Jay/J and not mum-hope you are not offended by my asking. I have called my mother J for a long time as was never really the 'mum' type & when I was a teenager who thought I knew everything, it was the 'done' thing to use your parents' names at my school. I moved to using her initial- J - a while later out of sheer laziness! 😂 Thanks for hair & eye comment! 😘 Xxx

Hey lady s i am still up at this ridulous hour my eldest elise has been very poorly with a really bad viral chest infection which then developed i to the flu flu and omg gas she been a patient and a half since 3 days before the new year . Of course i have been panderi g to her every need yet i am not meant to be exposing myself to her germs with my lack of immunity despite me having my flu and covid injection. I could be doing with a drop of gin at the minute i am currently making elise a hot drink and giving her nect dose of meds i mean she is 20 but you would be forgiven for thi king she was about 2. I dont wish to tempt fate but i think she maybe on the first step to actual recovery which i sincerely hope so for my sanity. I have been dozing when she sleeps so i am all over the place. Penni is working long shifts and is back at college and anabelle heads back tommorrow home friday and off to austria skiing on saturday with her ih and his man friend lol. for 10 days . then when she returns penni and matthew head to austria also for 10 days skiing. elise is more or a home bird she hasnt got the travel bug like the other pair even when her dad offered to pay for her to go she wasnt convinced. She is just happy to be all cosy and snuggly at home in her own wee enviroment enjoying it just being her and me without the hassle and noise of the other pair. So disappointed you are on the move all good things come to a end i know you will miss the kitty terribly but het ho new year and a step nearer to getting your own place .Madame is requesting her cuppa so i better dance attention asap. I know what it's like to be ill over Crimbo/New Year 💕 And make sure you don't come down with it too- keep yourself topped up with vitamins etc! I agree that it's fab to go away sometimes, but also so calming & relaxing to stay home (just as good as a holiday at times). I love all the names of your daughters btw - really timeless and pretty. My mother has offered to pay for ozempic for me for a few months so am going to do a little chatty video on that & a Primark haul if they have the bits I'm after! And yes, it was such a charming sit and I didn't really want to leave, but shorter commute from next sits which are coming up soon, and I'll be in Southampton at some point too. Xxxx

Hi Sarah...Your hair always looks lovely as do you- we have to raise the bar amongst us women. Where beauty is concerned its about what makes you fell good and comfortable right. I was going to say something when you purchased the innocent smoothie but I just thought its not my place to say anything so I am pleased you have watched that programme- a lot of the old weight loss is about understanding food and what it does to us- I always stick with trying to eat as much of it in its natural form and it sort of works oh and moderation that's the key! I hate it when people say 'that's lush' hate that word when used that way- no idea why!! I wondered have you tried clear waterproof mascara - should work for you? Sweetest Blessings Mand XOXO

I actually find car washes exciting 😅😂 like really dramatic and I squeal like I'm on a rollercoaster and my partner laughs, cos I tell him "let's do this" as we go in 😊I understand you feeling scared because it's loud and claustrophobic I also have health and saving money in my new years resolutions 😊 Well done for overcoming your carwash fear 😊xx

@sarahsselection I think it's just knowing it IS safe statistically. . . . I'm an amateur diver, and I know that the chances of being attacked by a shark in the sea are sooooo low, if you behave how prescribed in the water (stick to the reef wall, don't be in open water exposed etc and even then, sharks are timid and most would never approach). I always stay calm, for diving, for first aid, for exams . . . Crowded spaces like trains and supermarkets . . . Because stress makes the situation worse, so I've learnt with time to stay calm . . ..breathing exercises and also aromatherapy, essentials oil on wrist and rub together to heat it and release scent (using one specific scent when stressed to calm down and then you have scent association . . . And associate that scent with calm) . . . Find what works for you ☺️ With new years resolutions I really need to stock a healthier lifestyle and keeping my weight stable, and I'm on a "No Buy 2025" to save more money 💰🤣🙏🏼 So I can't buy anything I don't NEED . . . So consumables & recreation (bingo 😂, holidays, mini breaks, date nights etc) are deemed as essential for physical and mental health . . But cosmetics I can only buy IF I NEED it like toothpaste, but not make up because I have more than enough etc Good luck with yours 😃xx

@AmberRoo Well done on the new year's resolutions - you sound so focused and determined which is fab. I love the idea of a no spend 2025, particularly whilst trying to buy a little flat but do so well for so long, then go a bit wild on the old Amazon 😂 How amazing that you're a diver. I actually like sharks (and crocodiles) and would love to swim with them (without being attacked obviously!). Your de-stress solutions sound very positive and worth trying. I want to overcome a few things! Xxx

I'm only day 7 haha 😂 and you realise how much is habit, like scrolling on your apps etc. so I've deleted all shopping apps, unsubscribed from retailer email spam, unsubscribed from beauty obsessed KZbinrs who buy absolutely every beauty box deal or advent calender. . . . Just helping myself, because it's habit and impulsive and addictive essentially ☺️ We shouldn't be confronted with shops in our own home .. . We need to go back to basics in my opinion, to save money. "Out of sight, out of mind" 🥺👍🏼 Wish me luck! 🤞🏼 Xx

@@AmberRoo 7 days- yay! Great start! 😃 The problem is that spending is so fun (there, I've just said it 😂), but it's true that we really don't need so much stuff. I'm like you in deleting the apps & prioritising experiences this year- hopefully a holiday to Japan & some lovely little mini breaks. That's one reason I love house-sitting- getting to see more of the UK for free. And as someone who wants (needs 😂) to lose weight, I'm constantly looking for clothing bargains in charity shops ATM to save £, recycle old clothing & love that the chazza gets a bit of £. I nearly bought some stuff in Primark today, held back, then found 2 X brand new tops in the chazza! Was chuffed to bits! 🎉 Xxx

Dear Sarah.. Happy New year to you! Oh my goodness you poor poor thing I was so so terrified for you. I don't mind car washes but they are scary when you don't know what is going to happen and the person being awful to you needs to pipe down and chill out. I get so upset with how inpatient and unhelpful folk can be. I do like Waitrose but they are expensive- I watched a really good documentary on Netflix a week ago called 24 hours in Waitrose- I think you may enjoy it. Congrats on getting through to the next stage of your counselling course and what fun to hear you did voice overs- would love a video on that. Love to you and gorgeous little sweetheart Daisy. I actually have went to Lidl for a few bits today & couldn't believe how much I came back with for £16 or so. I hadn't been for a while & soon found the cheese section 😂 I am an absolute wuss when it comes to flying or carwashes- hoping to toughen up a bit 😂 I will defo do a little video on voice overs soon- not that I'm an expert or anything, but it is such a fun thing to do! @sarahsselection u r very accepting of her and her little ways thats just what my girls have learnt to do about me now they are getting older i realise my brain has its own little ways of working thats not likely to change so they are accepting the majority of the time of their somewhat eccentric non traditional mummy. Elise refers to me as mother dearest when she doesnt approve .... it helps their friends all love coming in and out of the house and she me as shall be say entertaining lol

Evening lady s i am not going to lie but i am suffering withdrawal symptoms with you not uploading every single day !!! So excited for this. Donations in lieu of gifts was a fab idea. Cash is king money from your mum and your dad will be put to good use for sure and vouchers are always welcome too. I love how you & mum do stockings for each other i adore lots of useful luttle bits including foodie bits . What a great idea for a blanket with the gorgeous daisy on it perfect very you. Your mum is a woman after my own heart and you talk about her and her antics in the same way my 3 girls talk about me lol. With the tomato and herb dip 🍅 🧀 I'm surprised you don't like second hand items as gifts for yourself! 😊 I'm going to do a "charity shop" Christmas for 2025, and only buy people things found from a charity shop where possible. Prada Candy is one of my favourite scents, I have it in a mini too 😊 It smells lovely, sweet and rich Glad you've been treated for Christmas! And the charity donations is a lovely idea 😊 Use the clip you have first and prove to yourself you'll use it, before buying another. I'm going to be wearing claw clips in 2025, just to feel like "I've done my hair" a bit, because I'm not great at hair styles xx

@@AmberRoo Hey! I love Prada Candy- just delightful 🙂 And yes, I'm funny about receiving 2nd hand gifts as I've had a few clangers. One bodycare kit had dried bits of what looked like snot on it 🤮 but clothes are fine (I should've clarified that I guess 😂). You'll never guess what I did with the remaining cheese bites though- I accidentally chucked them out when I was cleaning my car out (straight after the video today). Now you really couldn't make that up- I felt like a real idiot!! Xx 😂🤣😂

Merry Christmas lady s omg my day did not go to plan either my poor mum wss rushed into hospital via ambulance at 5am christmas morning as j know she is rrcovering from heart surgery about a month ago .so we assumed it was her hearg but it was her breathing that was the problem . I kid u not she is still lying on hospital trolley whilst hooked up in the corridor as there are no beds not a nice way for a 76 year old lady to be spending her christmas day and goodness only knows how long she will be in . U couldnt have predicted it. So all in all a day of ups and downs great family day with 3 girls and ih and his side then i will be going to c my dad and take him over to c mum and bring her a little bit of food if she can manage it. Hope u enjoyed your day with the most important person in your life aka yourself . Talk tommorrow much love lady p px

Hey Sarah...so very sorry to hear what you had to go through with Daisy and that bill although was a bit 'ouch' I totally agree you need to know she is well and safe. Hey beautiful lady your outro was just fab! Love the red top with the gorgeous red hair. We love baked beans too- I like to melt the butter into the bread under the grill first and then you get that added nutty butter taste which reminds me of my childhood. Evening lady s not l9ng back from doing taxi for the girls as all 3 are at a annual christmas charity event so just having a cuppa and catching up on you tube . I love a quaint little village at christmas royal Hillsborough is a bit like this really puts you in the festive mood . Got the goodies today in m&s but it was chaotic however i managed to get what i wanted and got out alive just about . Then it was just the traffic to navigate to get home. Under no circumstances will i be setting foot in a shop until the new year . Also i am planning on a next to no spend year during 2025 . I am determined to empty my 2 freezers and deplete all my prep stores. U r working christmas eve if i remember rightly my day will be spent wrapping gifts baking some cookies and popping up to see my mum dad and sisters if time allows. Talk tommorrow much love lady p

@@honeybee4423 Hey Mand, it wasn't a Cath Kidston no, but although I went back to pick it up later (as I thought it was V sweet)the ladies running the shop (who were leaving for a break at the time) still hadn't returned. Oh well, I may go back next week 😊 And like you, supporting local businesses is something I'm all for 💯 I don't think many people realise what a shame it'd be to lose all the amazing independent cafes & clothing shops, until it actually happens. I'm trying to do my bit. Xx

Yes yeah yes lady s i am not going to be on my own on christmas night and boxing day after all i will be able to watch and chat with my online bestie so not going to be lonely at all so u better make them extra long regardless of how long they take to upload. I expect to see the cat daisy and your mother. When my eldest is annoyed with me she refers to me as mother dearest lol . Lemon mergine will have been devoured by this time i do hope you enjoyed. Love a cream soda.... i make up a foodie hamper of the all the bits my mother in law loves but wouldnt buy for herself chutney crackers and cheese and perserves speciality tea manku honey and majool dates dried apricots and honey roasted variety of nuts etc now i am doing the same for mum and dad this year. Oh m&s is on the agenda for sure tommorrow as i have a return to do for elise right beside it i just hope its well stocked lol. When you come over to see me next year you will have plenty of time to pick up the accent although mine is not that particularly strong also theres a variety of accents in the various different counties. Cold bake beans are how i ate them as a child pineapple on pizza gets tge thumbs up in my house. Great haul you should be well sort3d of over christmas my worry is where is the big obligatory tin of sweets ?? Much love lady p xo

Great Video as always Sarah. My other half says you remind him of a cross between Bridget Jones and Dawn French- and we love both of them too!! The J2O watermelon drinks are my favourite and also come in a set of 4 cans= hope you love them as much as I do. Why don't you try a Tesco online shop- they don't take any money until the order has been fulfilled and if the item arrives broken or they send the wrong thing or in your case its short dated they refund it back to you.
