First: HAPPY NEW YEAR, JENS! Man that was a year with many activities! Good to see you back in action after your injury. Love the shave introshot and all the stuff you did besides cycling. So xou know, man, we're not becoming younger... BUT as you always say, young or old, fast or slow, it doesn't matter as long as you go! Maybe a little slower, maybe not the "hard" stuff anymore, but still going. I had to quit skateboarding last year, because I was diagnosed the loss of one of my lungs. The nerves which feed the right side of my diaphragm do not work anymore, probably caused by my last heavy slam on my skateboard, where I also broke my right shoulder... so I quited skating ramps, curbs and rails. BUT still going even inlinesk8ing and snowboarding and of course fat biking. Fast or slow, as long as you go! Keep up your nice work! ❤❤❤ Yours Ulrich

I totally get it brother. I had my first major crash in July. I was still able to ride, but it was difficult. My riding became sporadic. My KZbin channel has been less appealing for some time, although I did do a video back in September. Here's to a fantastic 2025!

Howdy, been following you for a few years. Your creative videos are fun to watch, and you obviously don't need the income from social media. Control your creativity and art, instead of the other way around chasing YT algorithms. Do whatever YOU want. With that out of the way, I've watched you crash more than a few times and wondered, what the heck is he doing? You're hereby admonished by a 71 year old cyclist. Sorry to hear about your injury. Ride you bike, have fun, take it easy damnit'☮

Nooooooooooo my wo with omfb stickers broke yesterday. Frame snapped after 8 years. Now thinking about a woo, but what is your idee about the difference between wo and woo ? is the extra money worth it ?
@OldManFatBike22 күн бұрын
Hi @JohanKlaassen! Sorry to hear about your busted frame' Johan! Kona does have a lifetime warranty on their frames. Did you contact Kona to see about getting a new frame? I, myself think the difference between the Wo and Woo are worth the extra money!! Please send me an email ([email protected]) with your current address and I'll send you a replacement sticker for your new Fatty!!

@@OldManFatBike already received another frame a few years ago for busting it, didn't feel right to do it again. Time to move on :) the woo feels fine :) still don't know if I keep the deore on it or replace it with my sram gx that I had on the other wo :) but happy with it for sure ;)

Thanks for the help. I used this method to carry two bikes in my truck box for over 300 km. They never moved at all. 👌 put one in like you did and the other having the front wheel towards the start of the box the opposite way.

I just came across this video it's awesome. But would this method work in my VW sportwagon? Lol kidding. I always wondered with a tailgate pad, would that just slide around or tip over. But wondering if this only works for fat bikes because of the super wide tires. Well now all I need is a pickup. Cheers buddy
@OldManFatBike4 ай бұрын
The taillight pad actually has several straps that hold the bikes in place. The straps typically go around the top tube. Thanks for checking out this video @gaddobronx6740!! ✌️

Awesome video ! Was wondering what tire pressure you run for a summer run like this ?
@OldManFatBike5 ай бұрын
Howdy Gary!! Thanks for checking out this video! I typically run 20 psi front and rear when I'm running on hard packed services. It allows the bike to roll quicker and you still get a little bit of cushioning from both tires! I hope that answers your question @garysmith643!! 😊

Any ideas loading an ebike on a truck with a camper shell ?
@OldManFatBike5 ай бұрын
Hello @rongarcia9902! Thanks for checking out this video. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for you at this time. The only thing I can come up with is to lay the bike down in the bed. That really isn't a very good idea as your bike will take up a lot of your bed space. If I do think of something else, I'll reply to this thread 😉
