Thank you! That's so kind. Great question - if you're already structured in a 100% plan, then I'd say it's a low likelihood of the unsecured debt being dismissed/discharged/not paid back. That said, if your income decreases or mandatory expenses increase, that could change the plan. Okay so my husband recently paid off a debt via payroll garnishment the last payment was made via payroll deduction on July 11 now last Friday August 16 we were served for the same debt that was just paid again. What do we do to stop this company from trying to collect on the debt twice? Isn’t that illegal? So yeah it was paid off July 11 and on the 16th of July. They went back to court stating that it wasn’t paid off when it wasn’t got the stuff done all over again for the same debt, it’s not a debt. It is the same debit. We are in Washington state I don’t know if that will help you so what do we do to stop them from doing it? Legal things? This company has very bad reviews even down to making up fake debts. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but that’s neither here nor there we’ve dealt with them before they are really shady. They do really bad things they review on, BBB better business bureau is horrible

PS it states on the document that we have 20 calendar days from the date that was stamped on there the date that it was approved by the court not the date it was served basically we have 20 days from July 16 to respond but we didn’t get served until August 16 that’s 3031 days something like that not looking at the calendar so yeah isn’t that illegal as well? I’m really confused. How do we respond? I’ve never done this before but I’m not gonna allow this company to mess with us anymore.

He works for LPG and Phoenix law your validating bs, I’m a client and that’s not was promised LPG said that they would hold funds in an account that I put funds into and pay creditors out of monies collected. Wasn’t just negotiating the debt it was paying off the debt with money paid into program based on the amount of debt that client has or had.

@@AscendFinance one is only month behind because it’s my credit union and I get direct deposit through them and don’t want them closing account. One is at Midland (junk debt buyer) one I settled on for 50% off and making last of 3 payments in two weeks. Still have a large Capital One card $14,000 that’s 6 months delinquent that will be hardest to negotiate, and $9,000 charged off Citi Card which I hope to work out a settlement with next. Bankruptcy (CH/7 I have too much disposable income for, apparently, even though I am under the annual median income as a single person in my state, CH-13 although probably beneficial considering my past due taxes but I don’t want to be trapped in a 5 yr plan. Would feel like a parolee having to constantly be checked on by a Parole officer (trustee/courts).

Did I miss where he tells you the interest rate on the existing debts and the line of credit being used? This strategy only makes sense if the new credit is a lower rate than the bills you are trying to pay off.

They limit expenses unless it's going to a high priority creditor like mortgage, car loan, back taxes, and child support, They made it really hard to wiggle out of a 13 to do a 7 for high income.

From the very beginning, I knew that I could not pay the mortgage or car payments with a credit card. I use the money leftover after paying the mortgage and car payments to then pay minimum on all the other credit cards but then focus the remaining cash flow on one credit card. I have some side jobs and all of that then goes onto that one credit card that I’m paying off. That cash flow going on the credit card meets the minimum payment plus more. The side jobs have really helped. And now my wife is on board and her check is going towards paying off our debt too. At the end of the year, the cashback from the credit card will be used to pay down the debt even more. We have all our bills on auto pay using the credit card. I’m kind of rambling, but this has really worked for us.

My wife her check goes towards the mortgage so she pays that but a big portion of her check also goes to my daughters school. So she gives me that to put against the card as well. We just got some money from, some relatives and we put the whole thing against the credit card too. I cut grass and watch pets on the side all of that goes to pay down the credit card. I am actually excited doing this. I’m leaving a pet sitting at the moment and just got to reply. Have a good day thank you for your videos.

I'm trying to help my mom with her $30,000's of debt while also trying to suppliment my own income to save for a house in my lifetime. She used to be financially irresponsible but now that she's older and wiser I want to give her the financial freedom she deserves before she retires or dies. 💪

hmm... credit score? my DTI is extream high all ready. I do not have a mean to pay the dept at current rates. what does my credit score matter? if i can not pay my depts who would give me a loan , for car or home? at this point my credit scroe is just a way for these credit card companys to make money off of my abilty to pay min payments. ????

I hired a lawyer to take my case and they promised me they could get it lower and if i showed them a hardship form would hlpe but my lawyer hasnt lowered it. And its more now with court cost. My lawyer wants me to settle now instead of going to court.

@AscendFinance is not good. My lawyer really wanted me to just settle before it went to court, which is scheduled next year, it says. But my lawyer didn't lower the debt. Like I said, I submitted a hardship form to them, and they wanted to see my bank statement, which I didn't wanna show them because I felt like it was an invasion of privacy. My lawyer said it's fine if I didn't wanna show my bank statement but it's won't help my case.

Is there any template on the planet that doesn’t cost money that can be used to file an answer? Can your response be thrown out for failure to adhere to format? There is no template for a response on my county or state website (I am in Oregon), and the amount of time I’ve devoted to trying to find one, or an attorney willing to write the answer, is beyond the pale.
