Piper is my child's name that has the pig and we just bought it today. It's a crossbreed and we have started her on the same thing we used last year which was the pacesetter. Last year was our first year with this and we are still trying to figure out exactly how much to feed per weight and to make sure she gets enough muscle

guys..daughter is in ffa tavares fl. first ever pig basically zero knowledge. the pig was born this Oct. and fair is in April. pig will be Housed at off campus ag farm. The plan is to feed the pig in the morning on the way to school and then feed the pig again in the evening breeder recommended sunglo g line 18.. so I have they, probably bought too much ( 4 bags).. anyway she/ we would love any tips or guidance you can offer us thanks.. MB
@SungloFeedsandSupplements2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the note here. 4 bags isn't too much, you'll use that within the first 2 months or so. Should be consuming around 3-4lbs per day, split between your two feedings. Biggest thing is to start simple in terms of doing the basics right: clean pens, brush daily starting with a soft brush then working up to a stiffer brush to remove dead skin, building confidence then walking the pig as often as you can. Tracking weight is always critical to make sure you're not too big or too small. Be sure to check out some of our other videos as well, there's a ton of good info on them. Thanks for your business and good luck!

With smorefill, how much sumo would you recommend??? I’m really new to this game and trying to figure it out. I’m going to utilize game on this year for the first time as well.

My kids are jackpotting right now. We aren't working towards an end show with this set of pigs, just 4 weekends of jackpot shows. I have a gilt that is 105 lbs and is really heavy muscled. I have her on 16G and ordered some smooth. Would I use Game-on for her to get quick results?
@SungloFeedsandSupplements2 жыл бұрын
Apologize that we're just now seeing this comment! Game On might not be your best answer here if you're already heavy muscled. Would like recommend feeding Smooth with either Milk It or Sumo.
@scottayres6072 жыл бұрын
So do you subtract from the total feed ration? Like if you are feeding the pig 2.5 pounds and .5 lb of game on are you feeding 2 pounds feed plus .5 lb making 2.5 total, or 3 pounds total?,
@SungloFeedsandSupplements2 жыл бұрын
It would depend on the pig, but MOST of the time it would be leaving in the 2.5 lbs of complete feed and then add in the .5 lb of Game On. If that slows down your overall feed intake, and you're still looking for response from Game On, then pull out the .5 lb of complete feed to get more from Game On.

Feed G line 1 pound and half pound of game on? How much water u add with that mixture
@SungloFeedsandSupplements2 жыл бұрын
Depending on the pig most of the time you'll end up feeding a little more complete feed than that, plus (in Bradey's case) the .5 lb of Game On. Adding enough water to where it's slop, but not too much to where they don't finish it quickly but more than enough to keep it from being too dry.
@randyrichardson54412 жыл бұрын
@Sunglo Feeds I burned my hogs up. They stopped eating for 3 days to be due to much protein with all the additives added with complete feed. Overall, keep your hog healthy and happy. All the extra stuff helps in moderation.

White and clear could u explain more? I Have x2 2.5 GAL Waterers from Trojan would it be ok to mix one with this product and one straight water 24 /7
@SungloFeedsandSupplements3 жыл бұрын
"White" would be the water that has 4-Sure in it. "Clear" would be water that has nothing in it, just plain water. It would be ok to mix like that, not sure though that the 4-Sure water might clog the waterer. Also, not sure you need to use 4-Sure 24/7. Of course you can, however it just might not be totally necessary. We normally recommend starting it 7-10 days prior to your show that you're wanting to attend.

Is that a additive to the 1 1/2 lb every 12 hours
@SungloFeedsandSupplements3 жыл бұрын
Yes, Game On is fed as a supplement or additive. We suggest starting at around 4 ounces twice a day in addition to your complete feed. And increase from there if you think your animal needs it.
@randyrichardson54413 жыл бұрын
What age and weight can I start pushing this.
@SungloFeedsandSupplements3 жыл бұрын
Hi Randy. You can feed Game On at any time in the feeding phase. However, most people start at around 175 or 200 lbs. It all depends on your animal. If they are super green and skinny, start earlier, if they are very bulky and easier fleshing, you won't need as much and can start later.
