I have this issues constantly and never did with my Weber . Doesn’t seem very premium to me

We have assembled whole thing except the door. We are having trouble fitting the bracket for the door hinge. Do you have any reccomendations? The screw is very tight in the drilled hole

Can you repeat what kind of oils we need ? Am not sure if you say palm or Pam oil.

-Close the tank valve -Turn all control valves to off position -Disconnect regulator from tank -If grill was lit wait 5 minutes -Reconnect regulator -Slowly open tank valve all the way -Wait 20-30 seconds -If no leaks turn main burner on Leave on 1 min -Turn off and let set 20-30 seconds -Turn tank valve off .

I would definitely stay away from Napoleon Grills, all makes and models, including Costco models (which is the one i have). The warranty is very much hit and miss, and from my own experience, nothing but words and no execution. Im on my 3rd email in 20 days with them asking for aupport on a grill that is 3 years old - still no response. My big lesson learned here is that I should have gone with my first choice - Weber Grill!!

Any chance this will work on a Napoleon prestige pro 600 rs. I am having a hell of a time converting to propane and this might be an easier solution

Napoleon, can you modify the way that the wheels are attached to the axle? The end cap is almost guaranteed to come off after rolling over the terrain of unpaved campsites or backyards several times. If an end cap comes off, the wheel is also likely to come off. Even if the wheel didn't come off, the grill would be unstable. It's also extremely likely that the end cap would roll away and would be lost in the underbrush. This problem would occur far from a parts bin, and probably on a weekend, as well. A Napoleon customer being frustrated with the company all weekend long is a situation that I'm sure you want to avoid, especially over such a small part. A cotter pin or a locking nut would be much more secure. The failure of an end cap would easily destroy the portability of this grill, and portability is one of the primary features.

Are you supposed to raise the grilling grates over the infrared burner or keep it lower when grillijg steals etc?

Bought a Prestige Pro, the spring loaded light switch caved in on the first try and Napolean customer service is only via email and slow to respond. No telephone contact and refers to website. Simple fix on a cheap replacement switch. I sent a photo and I'm still waiting for a response, weeks later.

Just bought one with the infrared side burner and rotisserie. For hanging the side burner, the silver bolts do NOT go into the holes without crushing the bolts threads. I drove one in 3/4 of the way, took a long time, then just pulled it out with my fingers. Zero holding power. What is going on? Also the holes are not internally threaded at all. Are they supposed to be threaded? I've messaged Napolean support and am waiting to hear back. I might try and find a metal hollow wall anchor that mushrooms but I don't know how deep the space is behind the holes or if I can find one thin enough but strong enough. Very frustrating.

Where can we get replacement parts for the wheels? Wheel assembly that came with mine has never stayed on, possibly due to defective parts, resulting in me not using it for two years. Problem seems to be with the cap staying on.

I received this grill as a gift and while I am beyond grateful, I knew this would be a complete and utter fuster cluck to assemble when I saw what Napoleon feels is an "instruction manual". No way to tell what most of the photos wanted me to do. I was happy to see this video and then maddened by the lack of dialogue and instruction on how to properly assemble the grill. This woman doesn't know what she is doing and you could tell the video was cut in spots because she was unable to complete the specified tasks on the page. Couple that with the horrible camera work that blocks much of what she is doing. I would never recommend this grill to anyone I liked even a little. This is IKEA on steroids, especially since this cost a heck of a lot more than any IKEA grill would. It took over a 2-day span to finish because I couldn't take it anymore and had to walk away. Oh, and what about the rotisserie?!?!?! SMFH

5 years later and both instructions and video are still criminally unusable: - instead of explaining how to deal with misaligned doors, it’s obvious they just cut that portion of the video out; seriously; yes, seriously; head explodes - my unit is natural gas (most probably are at this price range) and after noticing that supplied assembly manual doesn’t cover natural gas version installation, I then failed to find ANY natural gas unit assembly instructions at all; they don’t exist !!!! the gas plumbing is a safety component and is entirely different from propane and IS COMPLETELY UNDOCUMENTED; just WTF, seriously, WTF - so the gas pipe from the burners has this bright red tag with stern warnings to clamp the gas plumbing just right and then shows an X (don’t do) and a check mark (do) picture to “help” and … the PICTURES ARE IDENTICAL; do and don’t do (or die) are identical pictures; WHISKY TANGO FOXTROT There is much more. This is just idiotic.

I have to agree after just putting mine together. Time to redo the video, 4K, NO music have some discuss what is going on. Zoom in and out as needed to show the screws and what is being done. A few things seemed to have changed so updating the video and manual would be nice. The cable clamp to hold the hose and wire now uses a screw it's not a pop in. I will say hats off to the packaging Engineer, it is one of the best-boxed items I have seen in a long time!!!! Nothing was damaged everything was easy to take out. Door alignment is a little bit of a pain as is putting the top on the stand. Not terrible, but it is nice that part comes assembled. A couple of minor things left for tomorrow and then I can do the burn-off. The lighting is nice and like the Red vs Blue. Also, one of the things that sold me over the Weber was the cross channel that will restart the burner if the wind blows one out. Also not more batteries for the starter and placement is much better. No two-handed starts like the new Weber, plus a little longer warranty bumper to bumper.
